Friendly staff. Nice and quiet guesthouse. Garden and pool are clean, sun beds are quite comfy. Breakfast is good. Hope they could use real butter for pancakes. I rented a nice bicycle from them to ride around Sanur. 30k for a day. Along the beach there’s a nice bike lane. Nearby there’s Lilla Warung serving really good food.

Located at the beach (gorgeous place to watch the sunrise), but still felt private with hedges and a gate. Staff were exceptionally friendly, communicative about transport and accommodation needs, and ensured we were comfortable. The bed was surprisingly comfortable given I’m usually someone that needs to “adjust” to new beds. Clean and excellent property with an outdoor shower and good breakfast too. Can’t go wrong.

Maison Aurelia is brilliant! Room setup worked very well for us with young children, a central lounge so we could close off when the kids were asleep. Beds are comfortable. AC works well. Bathrooms are compact and could be cleaned a bit better / upgraded but are OK Cork restaurant is very convenient and good food wise - perfect for the kids and us when we couldn’t get out in the evening. Their wine selection is amazing - live music Monday to Thursday from 7-10pm, we could have a glass of wine and listen to the music from our balcony. Location is very handy with money exchange, souvenirs, grocery shops, pharmacy, and a short walk to the beach. Adult Bicycles available for free to use Very good coffee shops on the way (Lillian, bread basket and kopi coffee very good) Spa on site is very good too and we were happy to pay for the convenience of it all. Many spas also very close to the hotel Staff are extremely helpful, they couldn’t do enough to help us. It was such a smooth experience that we are in fact going back to stay there again! Don’t think twice about booking here

Clean, very good hospitality and very friendly staff (all the workers in this hotel are very nice and very polite). Even the workers in the higher class hotels / much more expensive hotels aren’t as nice as the workers in this hotel 🤍🤍🤍🤍 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼. The room service also top notch, too nice. They gave me clothes hanger (gantungan handuk/baju) and they hang my clothes there so my clothes could dry, even though I didn't ask them to do that, thank you so much 😊 🙏 you guys are very awesome. One they I put ansign that I don’t need them to clean up my room but in the evening they asked me if I need them to clean up my room. The only thing that they need to upgrade is the “WIFI” in the room. The wifi couldn’t work at all, only work at n restaurant.

It was great to be right by the beach, and watch the world walk past with their dog. There are two pools so you can have some separation and privacy. The gardens are absolutely lovely. The rooms are very clean, and the bed comfy. The staff are friendly and helpful. Well priced.

We loved the shops including the women with the market...

We loved the shops including the women with the market stores, the beach was idilic and very clean. The lagoon and reef picture perfect with beautiful blue boats and family life. Easy walking even with the sidewalks being made. Great variety of food and bars. Loved Icon Bali, just fabulous something for everyone's budget. Least favorite was the bikes on the esplanade, I dont mind moving when they ring the bell but some tourists not friendly. Love Sanur, very pleasurable and can't wait to return Next time I'm hiring a motorbike! I recommend Anna's warung and the satay house next to her for delicious food and unique experience

The city can be busy, but that’s part of its charm. You’ll find colorful shops, friendly locals, and a lot of interesting cultural spots like temples and museums. The food is amazing—whether you try street food or dine in restaurants, everything feels full of flavor and tradition.

I went to a restaurant: WARUNG KLUMPU DENPASAR very close to the hotel. They had excellent atmosphere good food and if I stayed longer I would have come back. So please try and experience it yourself!

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to...

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to look around. Everyone we met or talked to were very friendly and kind. Highly recommend. Be prepared to spend time in a vehicle as the traffic is a challenge at best. We went to one of the local malls, enjoying it immensely.

I loved the natural weave of traffic, the kindness and respect of the Balinese people, and how hardworking they are. So much to offer, for all budgets. I have yet to discover more of Denpaser on my next visit.

It was easy to get around but little to do nearby. A great turtle conservation centre that will keep most people occupied for up to an hour. It's very easy to get to the ports - one of the best port experiences I've had in Bali where you aren't overwhelmed by people trying to / demanding they order you taxis or sell you things.

Sanur is a great place to take it easy and enjoy the balinese lifestyle. Love the evenings on the beach where you can enjoy the views without the sun in your face and if you get up early enough you get to see the sunrise.

Denpasar is often overlooked and yet has so much to offer.

Denpasar is often overlooked and yet has so much to offer. There is history, culture, good food and places with open space, great views and room to walk if you know where to look. It's also a great base from which you can visit other areas and enjoy unique experiences with little travel time. If you are after a unique Balinese experience without wall to wall tourists, do a little research and you may find that Denpasar has a lot to offer.
