It’s a wonderful quite place with amazing aesthetics. Great for people that want to chill. It also has a gallery or Riz’s work which was a nice surprise. Extremely friendly and professional staff which made the stay even better. If we ever go back to Gili T., this will be the place to book.

We liked everything - the venue, the spa, food was good and most importantly the service, super friendly and caring (reception, at the restaurant, cleaners, gardeners etc.). Especially i d’like to thanks to Ajid to help us to turn Bali in bed weather and to do the best to feel safety! All the details are really thought through out. We loved everything about the place from the moment we got there til we left ! The villas were run by great German guy called Chris who was really nice and helpful. They upgraded us to a double villa as we had a bad experience with the flights over there. It really made up for it! The bungalows were well equipped and very comfortable. The beds were super comfortable with high quality bedding ( changed every day ). The air conditioning worked well plus the fan. We adored the bathrooms “inside outside “. basically no roof so you felt very much in nature. We loved looking at the stars at night when spending a penny. The Villas were Cleaned every day by very nice friendly efficient staff . Our breakfast was brought to us each morning and nothing was too much trouble. It was tasty and there was a variety of options . The pool was a delight and the gardens surprisingly big and well kept. We loved the privacy and often stayed at the villa most of the day . we be if there best places we have ever stayed. Should be rated 5 star not 4. The spa was really handy too. The therapists were very skilled and we loved indulging ourselves there frequently.

All the staff is just the best people I met during my whole trip to Indonesia. So kind, joyful, respectful. I will always remember them and keep them in my heart. My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary there and they prepared the bed with a turtle towel decoration, some flowers and a very nice hand-written note for us -and a nice welcome cocktail-. The breakfast was good with fresh fruits and warm food, decent coffee and very good fruit juice. The pancakes were our favorite, btw. The bed was reallt comfortable and the pillows were great! Hot water in the shower and a spaceful room with a nice terrace. It was just amazing! They really made us feel loved and taken care of. I will come back to this place every time I am in Gili Air.

I lived in lombok house number 101. It is big and spacious. The bathroom is at the back of the house and is open. There are two deckchairs on the terrace and the view from the terrace is to the beach and the sea. Only a small street separated us from the beach. The breakfasts were delicious. Fresh fruit, juices, sweet rolls, huge selection of food. Only a few minutes walk to the port and shops. The pool is great, there is a bar by the pool. Towels and sunbeds are also available. Beach service is also available.

The hotel is located at a bit quieter side of the island so you are not disturbed with the noise from “center” area. Nice specious territory. Lovely private entrance to the beach line. Small villas are very atmospheric and give full sense of privacy. The staff is very attentive and service minded. The breakfast menu is absolutely fabulous - you mix and match what you want to get for each breakfast and everything is very very delicious. Great combo of local food and European food.

this place was fabulous. the rooms were spacious & clean. the beds were super comfy!! the pool area has lots of loungers and always cool as it’s in a cover. the massage place on site was great. the food is also lovely especially the local dishes. the breakfast included was also great! it is next to the pier which is very helpful. they also rented us bikes to cycle around with and at a low cost. i would recommend this place to anyone visiting gili Meno.

if we could we would rate it 12/10. this is not only great hotel it is true experience. the service is outstanding. location is stunning and in the best part of the island! you are on the beach 3min walk to 2 zones where you will find great restaurants and some nice parties but you are still in chill zone. during the day they serve great snacks, drinks etc. so many cute details. the pool is breathtaking and ilumination makes it even better! THANK YOU!

The Vila Ombak team were very kind and helpful. We arrived and our room was smaller than expected and this was disappointing for us as we stayed there 1 week. They helped us very quickly to solve the issue and changed our room to a bigger one. The location is amazing for relaxation, very close to the main attractions but still quiet. We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back!

We loved everything. The bungalow is super nice. Having the swimming pool just in front of you is so cool! But then you also have a swimming pool at the restaurant which faces the sea! I love the pool, friendly staff, nice and quiet, but not too far away from the beach and all you need. I loved that they do not have plastic water bottles at all. Fresh refills in glass bottles when you need water. I recommend hiring a bicycle they supply for IDR 50,000 a day.

Gili Air is a cat lovers paradise.

Gili Air is a cat lovers paradise. There are cats in the hotels, bars and on the beach. Gili Air was very relaxing and quiet due to it being November and the start of the rainy season. The beach area on the western side is lovely to swim at with a small lagoon. There are a number of bars and restaurants on the beach. More restaurants and bars in the 'town' area. The food, drinks and accommodation are much cheaper than tourist Bali areas. The ferry from Bali takes around 4 hours from Sanur Harbour and stops at Nusa Peninda, Gili T, Gili Meno, Gili Air and Lombok. I highly recommend staying at Elephant House and Bungalows. The restaurants along the beach have good food, happy hour cocktails and cats. Getting around Gili Air can be difficult with luggage as there is no motorised transport and only one paved road, the rest of the roads/laneways are sand. There are bicycles and electric scooters available for hire. There are many water based activities on offer and tours to the other islands.

I love my scuba, for me Meno is the perfect place!

I love my scuba, for me Meno is the perfect place! Great dive sites, beautiful corals, full of life and colours, good for advanced or open water divers. For non divers can also be perfect, easy snorkeling, no cars or motorbikes, only walk (2 hours around the island) or push bikes. No big shops, very quite, but it's great to stay on the island, enjoy the water and the quite, for shopping Gili T is only 15 mins boat ride, but without the noise.

Small island but has everything, the local are very friendly, so many bar and nice restaurants, few places for party as well and of course crystal clear water and white sand beaches are perfect for relax but live music after sunset is my favorite in Gili Trawangan! I just wished that the club would open later than 1am but i guess that’s the local regulations so i get that.

The Gili Islands are beautiful, if you can look past the masses of European tourists who have overwhelmed it and who seem determined to create a French Riviera experience in Indonesia. Unfortunately, the locals - seeing where the money is - seem content to allow their island to be overrun. If you want to get gratin dauphinois or eat in a Greek cafe called Santorini in Indonesia whilst competing with the rest of the EU for a square of beach or to see a poor beleaguered turtle, then Gili islands is for you. If you're looking for an authentic Indonesian beach experience, go elsewhere.

A small island featuring numerous resorts with white sand...

A small island featuring numerous resorts with white sand beaches, making it a very relaxing destination. The best grilled fish we had was at Tika Warung during our 35-day trip across Indonesia, including Bali, Gili, and Lombok, prepared by a fisherman‘s wife. However, we were disappointed that we couldn't rent an electronic scooter; only bikes or horse-drawn carts were available. Additionally, the persistent salespeople around the restaurant and beach- selling shell jewellery and Medications were bothersome.

Staying in Gili T for 2 days was the best decision of our...

Staying in Gili T for 2 days was the best decision of our Bali trip! The whole vibe of the island is so cozy and calm. There are no cars, you can bicycle around the island or get a scooter. The beaches are beautiful and sunsets on the west side are breathtaking. You can order a drink and relax on beanbags on the beach while watching the most breathtaking sunsets!

Gili Air is such a special island.

Gili Air is such a special island. Small, peaceful, and full of good vibes. You can walk everywhere, enjoy sunsets by the beach, and feel like time slows down. One of the highlights for us is Sunny Rose Bungalows and Restaurant. The food there is honestly amazing — fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. The staff is super friendly and always smiling, which makes you feel at home right away. Whether you go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, it’s always a good experience. If you’re coming to Gili Air and want a mix of peace, good food, and friendly people, Sunny Rose is the place to be 🌸

We had a fantastic stay at Gili Meno Mojo Beach Resort.

We had a fantastic stay at Gili Meno Mojo Beach Resort. Our room (Deluxe Beach Front) was well equipped with tea/coffee making facility, drinking water and very efficient air con and a TV. The bed was super comfy and we both had the best nights sleep we’ve had in ages. We could step out of our room onto the beach and the snorkelling (straight off the beach) was amazing, with the greatest diversity of fish species that we’ve ever seen. We could sit in the restaurant area watching turtles poke their heads up through the water whilst enjoying the complimentary afternoon tea. Chriest was so helpful, making sure everything was OK, giving us lots of information about Indonesian life and sorting out our onward travel. Jo and Linjang were also super friendly with always time for a chat. The chef cooked delicious meals……I particularly enjoyed the grilled mahi mahi fish and my husband loved the red fish curry and the breakfasts were lovely but there were other restaurants close by if you chose to eat somewhere else. Altogether a fabulous stay. Thank you Meno Mojo.
