What a gem! After several days of traveling, this place was the perfect spot to unwind and treat ourselves. From the spacious room to the lovely patio and the exquisite restaurant, everything was wonderful. The house itself is steeped in history and offers much to explore. The staff were exceptionally friendly and we really appreciated the manager's offer to lend us a charging cable for our car.

Screebe House is right on the water in a very quiet remote area. It was so very peaceful. The dinner was absolutely superb in every way from presentation to delectable taste. The breakfast was without a doubt unforgettable in that the croissant just melted in your mouth, and the orange juice was freshly squeezed. The staff was also so accommodating, personal touches!

I would fly into Shannon rather than Dublin as it was a fairly long drive to get there and back. Motorway most of the way which was quite quick then a lovely drive from Galway to Clifden. We visited Kylemore Abbey twice it was that lovely. We went to Westport for the day. Great artisan shops there. We visited Letterfrack and Leeann. We ate a couple of times in Off The Square in Clifden and the meals were lovely and fairly priced. Drove the Sky Road loops. All three of them. Beautiful views

Loved Bun An Coirin. Quiet, peaceful and close to walks. This was a self catering cottage . We loved making our own meals. There was a lovely little bakery where we bought a selection of breads, all very yummy. We found a couple of nice cafes in Cong, not too far from Clonbur that served delicious coffee and scones. There is an easy walk from Chonbur to Cong.

It is a beautiful village on what feels like the edge of the world, surrounded by beautiful beaches, wonderful nature colours in a perfect setting. Perfect for group, family or solo trips. Great variety of pubs and eating choices in Roundstone village itself. I will be back for another visit and I will recommend to my friends too. Its a long drive over from Dublin but 100% worth it

The island is lovely, the ferry crossing is also beautiful. The eastern beaches are beautiful. Beach Bar is great for eating, drinking, and soaking up the traditional Irish atmosphere. It's a very quiet island, the only cars belong to the local islanders, so it's very nice to walk around and enjoy. Walking, swimming and watching the world go by in a lovely place.

This is just the loveliest place to visit and stay a while. The tourist office will guide you to great things to do! Guys on the Main Street is a good choice for eating. There are many restaurants to choice from. It’s easy to walk around the town and window shop. And if you can visit whilst the arts festival is on, that’s even better! You’ll want to return…

The hotel is a short walk from the village. There were some lovely walks close to the hotel so you could park up and still be able to continue exploring beautiful Connemara on foot. The village is a continuation of the beautiful atmosphere of the hotel, friendly and great food.
