Our experience was the perfect example of what I expect from a higher end chain hotel. The check-in went smoothly and our room was excellent. The bathroom was very nice and all the necessary toiletries were provided. The room itself was spacious and had a fantastic view of the city. The bed linens were perfect and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Everything was spotless and clean. And the provided bathrobes were amazing!

Just superb in every way. Sinners in tbe “greenhouse” were exquisite. This is my favorite place to stay in all of Ireland. Ray, the manager, holds up the tradition that the late, great Kaye maintains ed for decades. The Cashel House is a national treasure. See above.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ardagh Hotel. The service was fantastic throughout — warm, attentive, and welcoming. The restaurant was a highlight: breakfast was included and served à la carte with a lovely selection, and we also had a very nice dinner there. The food was excellent, and the view over the lake made the experience even more special. Our room was spacious, with beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. A truly relaxing and memorable stay — we would happily return!

We were very fortunate to secure this booking and found the facilities to be first class and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect for our needs and was quiet, secure and handy to the start of the Wild Atlantic Way. Good on-site parking. The breakfast and other small touches were very much appreciated. This is a hidden gem. The house is luxe without being intimidating. The view is spectacular. The staff are lovely without being intrusive. Thoroughly recommend. I actually don't think the photos do justice to the place (which is the opposite of most listings). It is even more special and beautiful in person. I didn't try the dinner but wish I had.

Very nice location, especially if you are up for some hikes in the area (or are into fishing). The staff is super friendly and very helpful, despite us arriving really late (apologies again ;-)). The breakfast has been great, however the very best experience has been the delicious diner in style with other (few) guests on the long dining table.

The location! You cannot ask for a better view than this place! So peaceful! Sarah Jane was very friendly and provided us with all the useful information to know for our stay. This was a large and busy hotel but it catered to our needs very well. It is not in the centre of Galway but is fairly near to it. The room was well appointed with tea and coffee making facilities, a very good bathroom and excellent restaurant. We enjoyed an excellent dinner in the restaurant. Extensive parking available.

You have to check out the Latin district and market square. We ate at dough bros and our pizza was delicious! If you have kids(or are just fun and whimsical yourself) they have some carnival rides in the square. We rode the ferris wheel and the merry go round and it was a lot of fun.

This is just the loveliest place to visit and stay a while. The tourist office will guide you to great things to do! Guys on the Main Street is a good choice for eating. There are many restaurants to choice from. It’s easy to walk around the town and window shop. And if you can visit whilst the arts festival is on, that’s even better! You’ll want to return…

The overall village look was lovely....but some of the pub standards were very poor and run down....I know this can add to a traditional feel but the Guinness in the pub was poor, as this is a tourist area, this needs to be much improved and the pub we ate in the service was good but overpriced completely....I thought Kinvara would have been better and I would certainly visit but would not need to stay for very long....I was expecting better but I appreciate everyone is trying to make a living and the season is almost over....
