My 9-year-old daughter and I spent our last night in Ireland at the Glashaus Hotel, and we couldn’t have asked for a better ending to our trip. The hotel is modern, clean, and very well located, with shops, restaurants, and public transport just steps away – incredibly convenient!
One of the standout features was the well-organized underground parking, which made arriving and settling in completely hassle-free. The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
And then — the breakfast! Absolutely fabulous. I can honestly say I’ve never had such perfect Eggs Benedict. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and served with care.
Our room was comfortable and peaceful, ideal for a restful final night. The entire experience at Glashaus Hotel felt like a treat — modern comforts with genuine Irish hospitality.
A truly perfect last night and last breakfast for us in Ireland. Highly recommended!

A Perfect Final Stay in Ireland
My 9-year-old daughter and I spent our last night in Ireland at the Glashaus Hotel, and we couldn’t have asked for a better ending to our trip. The hotel is modern, clean, and very well located, with shops, restaurants, and public transport just steps away – incredibly convenient!

Great facilities locally.
Great facilities locally. Major shopping but hotel is off the beaten track and quiet. Great ambience and facilities without leaving. Traffic congestion for going into the city at rush hours exceptionally bad. Cinemas, Olympic size pool etc all nearby.

It has a fantastic shopping centre with various food venues but are only a very small number of it closes at 9pm. In the area but here are only a very small number of eating places open in the evening. We were there for a business matter, I don't think it's particularly good for leisure in the evenings,

We were not impressed.
We were not impressed. The price does not match the quality of the room. The room and the bathroom are extremely small ( esp the toilet) and the location is not ideal. I am not sure why it is called a Spa Hotel because it is not. The staff was not welcoming and I would have to say I expected more.

Golden Dawn accommodation is located at end of Rathcoole...
Golden Dawn accommodation is located at end of Rathcoole village just off main Cork Dublin M7 motorway on edge of Dublin City.
A highly recommended location for those needing to go airport next day (simply drive on M7 towards M50 Ring Road and continue to airport).
Dined at The Poitin Still pub restaurant 1.5km away - famous place, recommended for food - much history in the pictures and plaques on walls - a local crowd, not touristy. The Rathcoole Inn is another good food & drink place.
Local area feels "rural" with nice wooded parks for walking, away from the city.

Room price was too high for vacation travelers, yet lower then other similar facilities, and appears to be set for business travelers on expense accounts. Location is far from any sites of vacationers interest. However, I knew this when I booked and chose facility because we needed to extend our stay a few days, the price was lowest and facility was relatively close to airport.
