The Ibex Unique Desert Inn is a truly extraordinary establishment that lives up to its name. Located in the enchanting Mizpe Ramon, near the Machtesh (crater) and within the captivating Spice Route quarter, it offers a one-of-a-kind experience. Upon arrival, although there may not be a traditional greeting, the instructions provided are flawlessly executed, ensuring a seamless check-in process. During my stay, I had the opportunity to explore the single room and family room options, but I ultimately chose the Garden Room, a remarkable two-level accommodation. The lower level features a comfortable living room, a well-appointed bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen, while the upper floor offers a spacious and inviting bedroom. One standout feature of the Ibex Unique Desert Inn is its exceptional cleanliness. Every inch of the establishment exudes a sense of freshness and tidiness, creating a delightful ambiance for guests. In the main building, guests can enjoy a generously sized living room that provides ample space for relaxation. Complete with a large television, cozy seating areas, and even an espresso machine, it ensures that guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast experience at this inn is truly a delight. Served in a separate location, it is a carefully crafted affair. The offerings are thoughtfully prepared, featuring an assortment of delectable spreads, perfectly cooked omelettes, and freshly brewed cappuccinos. It is a culinary experience that pleases the palate. It's worth noting that the single room and family room do not include televisions. However, this seems inconsequential as the true allure of the Ibex Unique Desert Inn lies in its surroundings and the unique experiences it offers. Guests who visit this extraordinary establishment are unlikely to prioritize television entertainment.

The location is perfect, right on the main promenade with easy access to the beach, restaurants, malls, and also to the local bus stops, which is great when going to Coral reef or Dolphin reef for example. The hotel has a heated outdoor pool (heated to around 28-30 celcius) which is open until 4:45pm in the winter, and if you pay extra, you can use the jacuzzi and sauna in the spa (open until 7pm). Only the main (heated) pool is open in the winter though, the other one was closed. There is also a nice private beach you can use, right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was a amazing, a wide selection of food the choose from. There is a business lounge for which you can pay, if you get a good offer you can have a light lunch there, just be sure to go on time because late in the afternoon they serve only dessert. The staff was really nice, they will go out on a limb to help you. I definetely recommend staying in the Leonardo Plaza hotel!

Everything about our stay was incredible. From the warm, personalized welcome (and treatment throughout!) we received from Ayelet to the Kashrut sensitivities shown by the fantastic explanation posting at the lavish breakfast that made it so comfortable for us to eat there - every aspect of our stay was fabulous. For those of us who take halacha seriously, we found the hotel is very welcoming and caters to every level of religious observance. Multiple daily minyanim on-site for all the Tefillot was definitely a plus we had not anticipated. The location is perfect - easy walking distance to the water and shops. We would absolutely recommend it and definitely plan on coming back the next opportunity we have to get away for a few days.

It is a place you only want to go with kids. It is made for families and kids are all over the place. But if you are with kids it is just great, especially for the price. The pool, rooms, territory, great breakfast, e.t.c. As collateral you get a lot of noise, kids running all over the place, ;) It IS remote location from the main street - but close to the coral beach - aquarium and parking is free for guests. So.... But anyway I had already recommended this place to some friends with families. Special thanks to staff - they extended our stay as we missed the pool on the first day and needed some more time.

Closet town to the airbase ( ceremony event ) thought best to take a hotel for a night , enjoy the airforce ceremony and spend the night in Beersheba then head north the following day. The hotel was so bad I truly considered leaving ! However I had plans to pick up my daughter from a location close by the next morning so i reluctantly stayed the night.

I am biased since I love Arad. This small city above the Dead Sea, with its clean, fresh air, peacefulness and quietness, and amazing Judean Desert views is very special. It soothes the nerves and does wonders for one's health. If you a lover of busy (and noisy) nightlife, this is not a place for you. But if you seek rest, peace, and tranquility, visit Arad.

Located in the Negev desert, with easy access to hiking trails, need to have a vehicle to get there and to do any excursions as there is little in the immediate (walking) vicinity. Nice hotel, but no views, rooms have internal balcony so not nice to sit out. Studio room was large and well appointed. Staff were very friendly But her are the draw backs, overcrowded pool area, busy noisy dining room, excellent breakfast, dinner not so good. Did not use Spa, so no comments on this. Pleasant stay but Not great value for money

Eilat is simply a wonderful destination.

Eilat is simply a wonderful destination. On the way, we stopped for a stunning viewpoint at Mitzpe Ramon – a breathtaking stop that perfectly set the tone for what was to come. Coral Beach is an amazing spot for snorkeling – colorful reefs and plenty of fish. We did an introductory dive with Deep Siam Diving School, and it was absolutely worth it. Our instructor, Yaara, was very professional, patient, and taught us a lot about marine life. The Underwater Observatory complemented the diving experience, giving us even more fascinating perspectives on the Red Sea’s underwater world. Our trip to Timna Park was unforgettable – the landscapes, history, and colors are simply breathtaking. My guest from the U.S., visiting there for the first time, was impressed and enjoyed it beyond words. We drove into the park and could easily visit several highlights without long hikes: the Mushroom, Solomon’s Pillars, the Mines, and the Arches. For hiking lovers – don’t miss the beautiful canyons, and with a guide you can even go further into the Eilat mountains. We are already planning to return with the whole family from the U.S. in January, when it’s a bit cooler – because in Eilat the experiences always warm your heart.
