We were enjoying the most beautiful views as the hotel is right on Sea of Galilee with nothing between and the sea that we extended our stay by a couple of days. The sun loungers around the pool were the most comfortable we have ever experienced . The food in the hotel for breakfast and evening meal was excellent and Louis ( food manager) and Jameel were so obliging when we asked for some grapefruit and again anything you asked it was efficiently done. Jonathon ( manager of front desk) was also friendly and helpful at all times.Fabiola at the evening meal was a delight and full of fun. Ken kept our room spotless and was very efficient and helpful. We also enjoyed the beautiful voice and guitar of Mor Seporta in the evening so make sure you catch her repertoire Please don’t miss out on this fabulous boutique hotel! Absolutely fabulous pool . We had a panoramic view room which is breath taking and definitely recommend it. it’s spacious and a/c is excellent throughout hotel.

CanadaA wonderful location on the eastern shore of the Sea of Galilee. We stayed in one of the cabins with a direct view of the Sea. The room was spacious and comfortable. There even was a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates waiting for us (too bad we're teetotalers). While En Gev is not the center of the universe, we were able to take most enjoyable day trips south as far as Bet Shean and north to the Golan Heights. In addition, they recommended an excellent fish restaurant on the shore at the nearby kibbutz for dinner. The breakfast spread was unbelievable.

King Solomon hotel in Tiberias is awesome.
It's quite an old dated hotel but is classic with probably one the best elevated views of magnificent sea of Galilee!
The hotel it self is huge with an upper or lower section. From what I gather almost all rooms have views.
It is abit of a walk back to the lobby or amenities if you are in the lower section, however its part of the experience when staying in a giant hotel.
The staff were extremely helpful & catering, even allowing me to move rooms, to one the higher rooms in the elevated section of the hotel, to obtain an even better view as I initially booked a deluxe room which happen to be in the lower sections of the hotel, quite far from the lobby.
Buffet breakfast was in the magnificent dinning area that over looks the sea of Galilee.
Really thankful & enjoyed the breakfast each morning.
They have a great gym, spa section. An great out door swimming pool.
Open air viewing decks.
Loved my stay here.
The only negative was the location is not right on the water like most of the other hotels down near the promenade wharf. However that is also a plus being it's quieter at night generally.
For what you get in Israel it's great value & very enjoyable.
Thanks to the lovely staff for taking care of us.

We had a wonderful stay at the Caesar Premier Tiberias hotel.
We stayed for four days, and the absolute highlight of the hotel was its very friendly and professional staff, especially at the reception desk, who went above and beyond in their effort to make our stay as pleasant and welcoming as possible! We received a room upgrade at check-in, and were offered a free dinner on a night of our choice. Also, on the day of check-out, we could stay in our room the entire day, using all the facilities, including the lovely indoor and outdoor swimming pools overlooking the Lake of Galilee and the palm tree lined promenade.
The hotel has an excellent location right on the Lake of Galilee, and our room had a beautiful view from the balcony. There were several nice restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. The hotel breakfasts were nice, and the dinner and breakfast for Passover were simply amazing! Both the variety and the quality of food at Passover were outstanding, it seemed like a Horn of Plenty has opened over the restaurant.
Overall we would highly recommend the Caesar Premier Tiberias hotel for a holiday stay at the Lake of Galilee.

THe location is wonderful, I had a room looking out directy at Kineret in 20 m. The water is very pure, the beach is nice, it is possible to swim from ladders on two piers going out far into the lake, and there is also a nice beach with shadow.
The room was just great, with a kitchen, and microwave. The only thing - you should take the dishes with you, as they don't provide them.
There is a small living room with two sofas looking out at the lake as well.
The park is great, many flowers, everything's beautiful and very clean.
The breakfast is just awesome, with lots of cheeses, grilled vegetables, salmon, pancakes and everything you could wish, in a beautful hall with a 180 degree view of the lake.
One night there was a big party on the beach, but they somehow managed to do it so that the music was not loud and did not disturb other visitors.
The administration of the office offered wine and fruit as a present, which was very nice, but I would put 10 out of 10 anyway, as I really appreciated the place and the way it is kept

We stayed in one of the suites with a view over Lake Galilee. It was well worth the extra money as the location and views were fantastic. It was also nice and peaceful as it was away from the road.

This is a happening place, with a large variety of restaurants, sightseeing and activities. Best to stay at a nice seafront hotel. Do not skimp on good accommodations. We were there for business, so our choice of hotel was not optimal. Next time, I'll stay at a tourist luxury hotel, even if I am not there as a tourist. Shopping mall, late night vibe, historical architecture, boardwalk, watersports, and lots and lots of people!

I am not reviewing Midgal (the name of the city), but the Magdala Hotel which is located in Migdal. It is the Magdala experience (the ancient town, archeological site, and spiritual center) that you will be experiencing in Migdal. Following this, one can explore nearby Holy Land sites on the Sea of Galilee.

For us it was the ideal place for cycling in the area. You can do climbs to the Golan Heights, visit the Druze villages in the area, etc. You can also circle the Sea of Galilee for a flatter experience, spend time in Tiberias, etc. Many restaurants within a 30 minute drive. We enjoyed a dinner in Tanureen (recommended).

The Moshav is situated in an excellent and scenic location above the Sea of Galilee. Perfect location for touring the Upper Galilee panhandle and the Golan Heights. There are two convenience stores, a small food-truck cafe, and two excellent restaurants in the Moshav. Many friendly home-owners have B&B cabins. I loved my Pundak Ramot studio cabin.

The accommodation is basic, kibbutz country lodging-style. The staff are very helpful. The location is superb: Magnificent view of the whole Lake Kinneret from the dining-room large bay windows; wonderful walking the lakeside paths (part of the Israel Trail) at sundown, quiet little beaches with plentiful birdlife - waterbirds, and ever-changing hues across the water.

Excellent location near key sightseeing sites. Private beach with lifeguarded lake swimming area, separate swimming pool available, gym, local lakeside walks, very good breakfasts. Good WiFi. Accommodation with kitchenette, and ensuite shower/bathroom. Outside covered decking with outdoor furniture was very useful.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay. We didn't want to leave. Great location, waking up to see the Sea of Galillee. The apartment had everything you would need for a stay. Soap, towels etc, all was provided. Very lovely place and would recommend it very highly.

The best anchor point in the north from where you can conveniently visit many interesting locations in the Galilee and the Golan Heights. Public transport will take you to your chosen point in Gallilea and Around Lake Kinneret very conveniently and inexpensively. Just download the Moovit app and buy a universal Rav Kav card for travel on buses and trains in Israel. Or download the app. If you want to rent a car, then it's easy and affordable in Tiberias.

Migdal is a small town situated above the Sea of Galilee.
Migdal is a small town situated above the Sea of Galilee. Not much going on in the town itself, but it is a short drive from attractions in the area. Nice place to stay for Shabbat. There are a few synagogues and some nice walks you can take.
