Our stay in the Kaziranga address was memorable. The owners were lovely and welcoming. It was our 1st time in Kaziranga and they provided all information they had and helped us efficiently plan our safaris. They booked our jeep safaris and elephant safari and the pick up was arranged from the hotel itself. The staffs in the hotel Sumi and Pranjit went all the way to make our stay comfortable. They helped us when we had to change the dates of our stay over phone. They arranged pick-up from bus stop and helped with all the safari bookings. The hotel location is nearby the central zone gate. The entrance to the orchid national park is nearby as well. The hotel is surrounded by serene paddy fields and the view from the hotel is totally beautiful. We walked around the fields and the village nearby and it felt wonderful. Coming from cities, it felt good to be able to see the stars in the beautiful night sky for a change. The hotel room was very spacious and clean, included all amenities, the bathroom was clean and nice with a bathtub as well. The smart TV worked well. The hotel room was exactly as shown in the pictures. Morning view of the fields from the balcony was worth it. Overall we loved their hospitality and their sweet gesture while leaving. We'd 100% recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Kaziranga.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful hotel during my trip to the city, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and exceptional service from the host, who was always available to provide help and advice, making me feel right at home. The location of the hotel is quite well maintained, with easy access to public transport and close proximity to the city's main road. One of the highlights of the location is its proximity to the city's nice and big zoo, which was a treat to visit during my stay. Additionally, the host was kind enough to provide me with an umbrella when it unexpectedly started to rain, showing attention to detail and care for guests' comfort. The rooms at the hotel were not only clean but also spacious, offering a comfortable and relaxing retreat after a day of exploring the city. I was pleasantly surprised when the host upgraded my room for free, adding an extra touch of luxury to my stay. One of the standout features of my stay was the excellent food served at the hotel. The menu offered a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I must say, the food was simply delicious. . I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay during their visit to the city.

The rooms are really clean and the staff welcomed us like we were coming home. Our room was completely set up with all amenities and consumables. We didn’t need to call housekeeping for anything. Absolutely amazing hygiene and ambience. They even packed an amazing breakfast for us at 5 in the morning for our journey. A complete contrast from Novotel hotel at GS road Guwahati where we were treated very poorly and placed in a very unclean room and the staff were extremely unwelcoming and arrogant. We will highly recommend Greenwood boutique hotel to any traveller as the best in Guwahati.

It's my 2nd home, I love it so so much...

It's my 2nd home, I love it so so much... More due to Maa kamakhya's presence but the city itself is safe and beautiful... maa Kamakhya temple and umananda is the must visit... Apart from that, visit Assam State museum, war memorial, nehru park, Brahmaputra heritage, dighuli pukhuri(for fast food and quick bites), Guwahati planetarium, IIT Guwahati if you are allowed it's a heaven place (we were allowed as we were there for an event and also we ourselves were IIT Patna students)....

I had a great experience staying at Backpackers Hostello. The rooms and dorms were very cozy and comfortable, and the bathroom was extremely neat and clean. The hosts, Ajit and Ritu, were very helpful—it didn’t feel like I was away from home at all.

This was a very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. A bit isolated but ready access to central gate entrance to park. Dining space needs to be revamped in line with rest of accommodation. However,provides a great stopover to visit Kaziranga NP and view the one horned rhinos up close

Love city.

Love city. Tea gardens, city vibes in cafes around the city, Nimati ghar - sitting by the Brahmaputra and enjoying the view, Golf resort, Sukafa kshetra and Gibbon Sanctuary were some of the most loved places in Jorhat city.

Sivasagar is a historical town.

Sivasagar is a historical town. It was the capital of Ahom kingdom. From White House you can visit Panidihing Bird century, Pohugarh Migratory bird accumulation area. Ahom kongdom's buildings like Ranghor, Kareng ghar, Talatal ghar, Famous Shivdol, Sivasagar, Joysagar, Rudrasagar man made large lake size pond. Dekhowmukh, Disangmukh, Haraguri Sapori, all natural picnic spots besides river Dikhow and Disang. Can use White Paper Home stay as transit camp once visit upper Assamand Arunachal via Bogibeel and Dhala Sadiya Bridge on mighty Brahmaputra.

After reaching Silchar, I was shocked to see the pathetic urban infrastructure of the town which was further deteriorated due to muddy streets, open drains, broken and potholed roads, flooded roads with drain water. Overall, anything that turns living in a town into hell. Silchar is the dirtiest town of Northeast and the third dirtiest town of India as per an old article of 2019, link shared below. The value for money and the strategic location to the...

The value for money and the strategic location to the airport were the only perks I can think of. The receptionist who checked us in was very curt, quickly went through the process like we were somehow bothering him(?) even though we checked in at the check-in window I specified when I booked the room. He did not thoroughly brief us on details like when we needed to check out, what the WiFi password is, etc. He did not smile, did not even look up once. And that was all AFTER we waited for him to finish his food. I have never experienced such hostility with the staff at any other hotel or homestay I've stayed in. On top of this, my booking says that "Breakfast is included" but the staff still charged us Rs. 225 for a cold and salty breakfast. I showed them my booking but they continued to argue based what's in their system. I don't know if this is an issue on the Booking.com end but it was extremely disappointing. It's not about the price but rather the failure to set expectations.

I had my own car to go around Majuli so I had a fantastic...

I had my own car to go around Majuli so I had a fantastic time feeling relaxed throughout. I went in mid April which I learnt is an off season for tourism. I enjoyed the freeness around the island, i got to see for myself why Majuli is called the largest river island. I had a great time going around the many peace inducing spots in the island. Great place to learn culture, spot beautiful birds, admire the mighty Brahmaputra, admire beautiful mother nature and relax just about anywhere.

bathroom dirty no water bottle no water heater no AC room and bathroom and balcony dirty never go again this hotel my suggestion is don't book in future very rude behaviour receptionist i don't know her name ?? Bathroom have cockroach 🪳 to much bathroom condition very bad no hygeine

You have so much to explore here in ass. Very beautiful lush green surroundings in the lap of mother Nature. Lovely helpful people here in assam. Property is being renovated, shortly you would be finding all the things in line.
