Review: This was our first time in India as Europeans, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay at The Imperial Hotel! From the moment we landed to the time we departed, the staff went above and beyond to help us navigate this beautiful yet chaotic city. The taxis provided by the hotel were top-notch, the room was fantastic, and every single restaurant exceeded our expectations. The staff deserves nothing but praise for their professionalism and hospitality. If we ever return to India, we will definitely stay at The Imperial again. If you choose the top 5 Hotel in Delhi, I suggest Taj Mahal as it is not too far from the sightseeings (just by taxi or Tuk-tuk). The only place you can walk is Khan Market (800 m). Breakfest is ok and there are 4 restaurants for dinner, not cheep as the hotel isnt't cheep, too. Good pool and wellness. Staff is polite, sometimes too polite (you need time for conversations)

Although rooms might need a revamping soon they are quite comfortable and spacious. Super well located and staff is very helpful and efficient. Had most efficient checking process in less than 5 minutes with very polite staff named Bishek. Breakfast was really amazing in terms of options. Everything very clean and organized, better than other 5 stars hotels I stayed before. will definitely come back. * If it is your first time in Delhi pls note that many 5 str hotels have artificial high rank because they try to coerce you to rate them. this is not the case. it’s really a good option

Excellent Hotel If you book a room on the 9th floor of the building: the rooms there are excellent! Bevause it is only on this 9th floor tat the renovation is just finished. The breakfast and luch was excellent too. What was great too: The hotel gave me early check-inn without extra costs because I was a woman travelling alone, and they want to stimulate woman to do that and to give women a safe and comfortable feeling when they are travelling alone👍

The architecture and the building were impressive , Gandhi museum, the modern art museum was very good , the street food was good if you watched them make it.( hot temperatures) Travelling around was easy tuk tuk everywhere cabs and uber As a tourist you Must barter on price , or they Will rip you off Excessive pollution and noise and population . Two nights in Delhi is more than enough , to say gritty and edgy would be an understatement . People constantly trying to sell you something ,which is understandable but annoying.

Please do not book this hotel...photos are all fake, photos are from some other hotels. The actual name of hotel is Grace Plaza..it is not La Plaza. Booking.com need to refund and also remove this hotel from the listing.

The constant barage of taxi drivers at the airport would not...

The constant barage of taxi drivers at the airport would not take no for an answer. I used Uber to and from the hotel but they dropped me at the wrong terminal. I used City Cabs to take me to the correct terminal. He drove like a maniac; insisted I paid cash. When I said I only had card he took me into the back streets to find an ATM, despite me saying I would rather find one at the airport. He refused to leave the ATM until I got out 23,000 ruppees. I told him thats how much I got out but only got 10,000, still more than I should have been charged. He wanted the money before we drove away but I insisted on waiting until we reached the airport. Once there, I gave him 10,000 and told him that if he wanted more, I would call a policeman over to sort it out. He left.
