⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Fairytale Birthday Escape – Truly Unforgettable I travelled from Dubai for a three-night escape to celebrate my 58th birthday, and from the very first moment I stepped into the Taj, it felt like a true fairytale. Everything about this property is about attention to detail. From enjoying a simple yet perfect sandwich by the pool, to beautifully crafted cocktails at the Indian restaurant, every experience was thoughtful and refined. Breakfast was a joy each morning with live music creating a calm, elegant atmosphere, complemented by stunning floral displays throughout the hotel. The staff are without question the greatest asset of this property. Warm, genuine, professional, and always attentive, they made me feel truly cared for. There was not a single moment during my stay where I felt disappointed or let down. The highlight was, of course, the effort the team made on the evening of my birthday. The gesture was incredibly touching and something I will remember for a very long time. It showed heart, kindness, and a true understanding of hospitality. And the location… oh my God — simply perfect. If you are looking for an experience rather than just a stay, this is the place. The Taj doesn’t just host you — it creates memories. Highly recommended, and I will most certainly return.

This trip also became the ideal occasion to celebrate our 25th anniversary — something we hadn’t been able to do earlier this year amidst the happy chaos of life with four wonderful children and two furry companions. The Fairmont Mumbai, newly opened just four months ago, proved to be everything we could have wished for and more. From the very start, our journey was infused with understated elegance and exceptional service. The hotel’s transfer set the tone — a smooth, luxurious ride from the airport, just a stone’s throw away, yet worlds apart from the bustle and noise of the city streets. Stepping into the lobby was like stepping back in time. The 1920s-inspired interiors — rich Art Deco detailing, exquisite architecture, and carefully curated artwork — spoke of a bygone era of glamour and sophistication. Every corner reflected thought, taste, and sheer style, offering an immersive experience that felt both grand and intimate. The people of the Fairmont, however, made our stay truly unforgettable. From the driver and doorman to the front desk, concierge, spa team, and restaurant staff — every single person was at our beck and call, anticipating our needs before we even voiced them. We were only in Pune for a week as we were attending a 3 day wedding event. Our friends took us out for breakfast when we arrived. We had to do a bit of shopping for the wedding & the Phonenix Shop Centre was in walking distance, we had load of variety of shops. We had lunch there and all was very good, clean restaurants. Unfortunately we didn't get to explore Pune which was a shame.

It's a great city and hill station to plan for your quick gateway. Since it's a hill station, there are lot of places where you can go and sit and watch sunrise or sunset. You can go for hiking, food, spa anything.

I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Navi Mumbai and was extremely satisfied with the overall service. The staff were consistently attentive, and the restaurant (breakfast/lunch/dinner) was a highlight — the Indian cuisine offered plenty of gluten-free options. The surrounding area is quite busy, with a main road that has heavy traffic day and night. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend requesting a room facing the stadium side, which is noticeably quieter. Overall, an excellent stay. I would gladly choose this hotel again.

If you are flying in and out of Nagpur to visit Tadoba, then a day's stay is enough for you too see the places and eat the local food. It is not a big city and excepting a few spots, there is nothing you can do for more than a day. We spent two days in Tadoba and 1 day in Nagpur and was enough.

A great place for someone looking forward to have a darshan & blessings of SAI BABA. As for food one can have food of all types including north India, South India & Punjabi. Also one can visit nearest tourist places like Shani Singnapur, Triyambakeshwar etc

Its a place with bad roads, people have very poor traffic sense and civility. The Sula vineyard was overrun with people, the jyotirling temple had a 3 hour queue at 6:30am. Food options were limited. Overall preferred places like Aurangabad and Kolhapur which we also covered in this trip

Dusty. Very very dusty. Carry a portable rechargeable vacuum / blower. Your vehicle will be covered in a thick layer of red clay dust. DO NOT FORGET YORU MASKS, FRANKLY A RESPIRATOR. There are no roads in a few stretches. Some places have NIL connectivity to JIO service. Better to download off-line maps.

Aurangabad now Chatrapati Sambhaji Nagar is famous for Kailash Temple , Ellora and Ajanta caves. Stunning sculpture of these three is unimaginable. One whole mountain carved into A temple which was partly destroyed by Aurangzeb a mughal king ,because his religion directs to do so. The next temple is Bhima Shanker one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, the most attractive thing is the natural beauty around this temple . This is a reserved forest area and purest wet fog is seen almost through out the year. You find yourselves in the mid of clouds feeling mysticaly.You can stay there in the forests with due permission of Forest department. Plan for atleast 3 days .

After the first night there, I booked into another hotel. I couldn't wait to get out of that depressing atmosphere. I had to stay in my room for a long time each day to work, but it was too depressing to be in such a dilapidated room. It was filthy & mattress worn out. Tiles were cracked. Do not waste your $ on such a filthy place. REceptionist doesn't understand English. I had to write it on a piece of paper for her to read. It is not a hotel set up for tourist. After the first night there, I went to the counter & barked at the receptionist, "Checking out. Not happy here." She asked me to see the manager, but I couldn't be bothered. I made it clear I would give them a poor review, for the room supplied was too appalling.
