What an amazing resort!!! Houseboats. Water trips using the hotel's boats. Everything is available and wonderful A super talented chef. You can feel the passion and excellence in every one of his dishes!!! It is worth coming to this buffet even if you are not a hotel guest. Last night was his and I will never forget the excellent dishes he served me beyond the buffet menu. A fish wrapped in a banana leaf. There was a winning dish recommended by the unforgettable hotel manager - J.B. - What a great charismatic and enveloping personality. The location is crazy. The pool is warm. The staff is really great!!!. The chef - is something not to be missed... and my next time - I fully intend to take a houseboat. It's super affordable and romantic. 3 meals + a 6-hour cruise...and all this fun is the most private there is. I had an amazing time and I recommend it wholeheartedly and with love.

Absolutely fabulous experience spending two days with at Rhythm resorts.. The cottages, a huge swimming pool and amazing food.. just the recipe one wants to rejuvenate. Best north Indian food i had down south. The staff serves you with most genuinely.. creating an atmosphere of smiles, talks and friendship.
The chef is north Indian, so its like you are having yummiest north indian food in the bestest of South India weathers.. Best of both worlds

Amazing resort that I can only recommend! The rooms are clean and elegant. The restaurant serves amazing food and the staff is incredibly friendly.
I got sick during the night and someone from the staff supported me, brought me to the hospital and waited there with me until I got better.

It is a very nice property. Well maintained, green, on the lake but no boat traffic to disturb the peace of the place, just the hotel boat. Nice facility, pottery, bike, fishing. Nice room. Some have a private pool some a big jacuzzi in the room. The massage is fantastic- a must to try.

Location and layout of the hotel, Looks great from photos, but quite Run down property and staff need more training on the hospitality side. Gym machine are all written and rusted, dont even bother going there. Swimming pool in a poor condition.

Didn't see much of the main part of Vaikom but did walks...
Didn't see much of the main part of Vaikom but did walks around the homestay. Visited a Temple and was lucky enough to see a ceremony which involved drumming, dancing, elaborate make-up and fire. There is a Ghandi memorial park to see which is very interesting.

Kumarakom is a beautiful village famous for its serene backwaters, lakes filled with lotus, small roads and above all, its warm and welcoming people. Found it easy to engage in delightful conversations, experiencing genuine local hospitality and culture firsthand.
However, if you are unaccustomed to village life, a few precautions will enhance your experience. Always carry mosquito repellent, especially during evenings near the water bodies, Don't drink Toddy and Spicy foods
