SpainEverything’s is perfect! You need to know where you are going to, is a hostel, shared bathrooms and only a bed. Not much space for moving around in the hub. But if you are aware of this, you have to know this place is excellent! Bed is super comfortable and big! Extremely clean and nice sheets. Bathrooms are big, clean, spacious, there is never waiting for a shower. Everything is very modern. The staff is extremely friendly. The lobby is also great! There a self service bar where you can even bring your own food and drinks and eat there. I would definitely return!

Our apartment was about 20 m2 + bathroom and will easily accomodate a family of four or even five if the youngest kid can share a bed with the parents. We also got some great recommendations on where to go and what to visit—things I didn’t find on Google. I liked the lounge with the honesty bar and its amazing view. It felt like an extended part of your room. The room was on the 20th floor - the highest building in Reykjavik – what a view! Just 5 min walk to the main street with restaurants and pubs. Enjoyed the stay very much!

A few hours before arrival, you get an amazing video tour of the hotel that explains everything (codes, entrance, etc.), so there’s zero stress! it’s all perfectly easy to understand! And if you ever have any questions, you can reach them by phone all day, plus they reply super fast by email too! The customer service is just incredible!
The location is great, bus stops for tours are nearby, which makes things really convenient, and there’s a supermarket less than 5 minutes away on foot (Bonus)! The room was huge, with so much space! The cleaning staff were absolutely lovely, and of course, they do an amazing job, the room was spotless!
Honestly, I loved my stay, and on top of everything, it wasn’t even expensive. I’d come back without hesitation! ❤️

IsraelI really enjoyed staying 6 nights at the City Center Hotel in Reykjavík. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, I got a nice room with a balcony. Conveniently located in the center with walking distance to main attractions, shops, restaurants etc.
On the way back to Keflavik airport I took a taxi that work with the hotel. The driver Kali was kind and charged as expected.

Hotel Laxnes exceeded my expectations in every way. The location was stunning, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the bar was amazing with friendly staff. Plus, the entertainment options like watching football on a big screen and playing darts and pool made the stay even more enjoyable.

Great place to stay in Reykjavik! Our room was spacious (we had booked the basic room), clean and soundproof. There was a good variety of options at breakfast. Staff was very friendly and the reception was available 24/7.

Lovely city full of friendly people.
Lovely city full of friendly people. Reykjavik is an easy and safe city to walk around. All sights were accessible. Plenty of choice for restaurants and bars. Obviously it is expensive by comparison to many destinations but on holiday sometimes you have to just go for it (I do feel sorry for the locals!). Ideal base for exploring this wonderful and very unique country. I took full day tours to Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon and Volcanic Peninsula. Also a spectacular night tour to see the Northern Lights that I shall remember forever. I'll be back again one day to explore more!

Hafnarfjorthur was between Keflavic and Reykjavik making it quite handy and more affordable to stay at. We rented a car to tour the Golden Circle, enjoy the Blue Lagoon, and sightsee in Reykjavik and felt that was a good choice. We didn't sightsee in Hafnarfjorthur.

Great location if you are looking for accommodation as part of planning to do the Golden Circle. Circa 40-45 minute drive to Thinvellir. Grocery store nearby (sells good quality sushi) however only a few eating out options.

ive already answered these questions twice. we paid for a superior room and got one. Neighborhood is out of the way but has great views and animals and is near the road to Costco. we spent 2 weeks driving the entire island and enjoyed it. This place has a theme tastefully done and modern amenities.The Viking Hotel restaurant where you check -in has a nice themed restaurant good food and service.

This is one of ,,those,, accommodations where you want to spend the night after a week full of traveling. It is clear that the owner has a sense of detail and quality. You can feel the quality on the materials and furnishings, the equipment of the entire apartment and the services that are here. Everything is still new, clean. Situated in a quiet location. We slept very well! Parking in front of the entrance, Accessibility anywhere is perfect. Since it is new here, the accommodation does not have any review and even though I usually do not write reviews, I think this one deserves one. For the price, it is exclusive accommodation and we will definitely come back here.

We are use to very large rooms with kitchens in our hotel room. While we vacationed in Iceland we stayed at VRBO’s but we saw this unique hotel and had to stay here and experience it!
Loved walking around the hotel and the use of hot tub and sauna !!!

Hlid Fisherman's Village had lots of "viking" character with some very interesting maritime realia, close proximity to Icelandic horses, heritage chickens, a koi pond, cedar sauna and two rooftop hot tubs. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the view was to the sea.
