What a wonderful hotel. Everything was spotless and well designed. The view of Lake Mývatn was just awesome from the bar and the restaurant. Best location possible. Wish we could have stayed much longer. Will use this hotel again on my next visit. Food in the restaurant was very good both diner and breakfast. Bonus was seeing the northern lights dance above the lava fields surrounding the hotel.

Superb hotel. Go for it if you are looking for a stay in Myvatn area. Great rooms and fantastic staff. Opt for dinner. We enjoyed dinner as well as breakfast next morning. We also spotted Aurora from this stay.

The breakfast was a typical Icelandic breakfast. They had little extras though like homemade rhubarb and orange lemon jam. Also they had a tea that was made from a herb that is found around there.

Very good breakfast whit self made waffle, home made jams. The diner with lamb was good, also the warm home made rubarber. There are 2 hot tubs beside the place to use. Good WiFi and very friendly waitresses.
