We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was absolutely perfect for our itinerary, serving as an ideal base for easily reaching both the Golden Circle attractions and the stunning sights along the Southern Coast. After long days of exploring, the beds were very comfortable. A bonus was the lovely hot tub; it was the ultimate way to relax under the Icelandic sky. The breakfast provided was decent, offering enough to get us fueled up and ready for our daily adventures. Highly recommend this spot for anyone road-tripping in the area!

Starting with the staff who were very friendly, continuing with the location of the hotel, which is to 5 minutes from the beautiful Skógafoss waterfall. The hotel has a restaurant with a great panorama towards to the waterfall. The food is delicious and varied. Having to 'get around Ring Road' definitely has its drawbacks. The biggest one we found was when you found a great place, your time there was limited. We did stop for the Lava Show in Vik, which was great, and we had dinner there as well. There was not enough time to really see everything before having to move on.

Iceland is a very expensive place to travel and this guest house was average price for Iceland but the quality of the rooms were low average. Our room had such a bad slope on it we had to sleep at the other end of the bed with our heads above our feet. The bathroom had a toilet in the middle of the room, you had to walk around it to get to the shower and even though the room came with breakfast included it was very poor quality.

Great place in south of Iceland.

Great place in south of Iceland. The town of "flowers" is a good name for this place, as it is the warmest place in Iceland, where they grow flowers and enjoy life. It has the best swimming pool of the whole country, with an amazing "steam room" that is heated with steam straight from the vulcanic core of our planet.
