Excellent hotel. I traveled with my (large) dog and we were made to feel very welcome. Location is perfect with the car, not having to drive into a city center, close to the highway. Plenty of parking in front and next to the hotel. Garden with fountain in front. My room was spacious and clean (I had the simplest one and this was already very good), bathroom not too big but perfect equipped and with nice toiletries. Wifi good and easy accessible. I had a pasta in the restaurant, the restaurant manager was top notch; my dog was 'of course!' also welcome, he brought a big bowl of water and he and all his staff were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast very good, lots of choice, I left for the rest of my trip rested and happy. A bonus was the park almost next to the hotel with a small fenced dog park in it. Overall absolutely recommended, especially for people travelling with a dog.

Amazing place and amazing peiple. The lady at the reception has been so sweet to satisfy my request of having a closer room and explain jow tonuse the facility. Tje restaurant wqs amazing, grat food, courtesy with nice and professional staff. The facility is great and worths a visit. Clean and cosy room. Unfortunately the area has been flooded during our stay. They have been assisting, helping, they worked hard all night to restore cleanness and be able tp serve breakfast. Thwy also gave us a considerable discount because due to the flooding we weren't able to use all the services booked. Amazing place to visit and enjoy.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in recently. It was very clean and comfortable. I was very pleased to stay in this hotel. I think you will not regret if you choose this hotel. Also this hotel has a kitchen and all kitchen utensils. It is a great convenience for those who want to cook. There is a refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher. It is a little far from the city centre, but the buses departing from the front of the hotel take you quickly to the city centre.

The very good suite like your private apartment! Very big room with king-size bed! Big TV with cable chanals, YouTube etc. The kitchen was equipped with all you may to need . Very nice style. Feels like staying in an old villa with a modern twist. Very comfortable rooms and beds. Breakfast was very delicious and the breakfast hall is an old theatre, makes the wake up for breakfast that much more worth it! Walking distance from all the important bits. Bologna has become a little more expensive than on previous...

Bologna has become a little more expensive than on previous visits, but generally a really interesting place to visit with great rail links to other towns. From Bologna we have visited Ferrara, Ravenna, Parma, Forli and Imola for day trips. Plenty of museums etc. to visit, would recommend a walking tour on your first day for orientation purposes. WE always use the Free Walking Tours on offer. Good food easy to find and have always felt safe walking around.

It's a rather remote, quiet town.

It's a rather remote, quiet town. Nothing to draw one to except quiet and near the Bologna airport. I ended up choosing to heat up a packaged curry/rice meal from the supermarket, as the only other choice (since I didm't have a car) was a pizzeria.

We were pleasantly surprised by Imola—its historical city center is truly lovely. Despite welcoming over 240,000 spectators for the Grand Prix, if you ventured off the beaten path, you could still find quiet streets and charming corners to enjoy in peace. It’s a beautiful blend of vibrant energy and tranquil charm.

Sasso Marconi is a perfect half way point between Switzerland and Rome. The main square in front of the church is a happening place with a market and a great meeting place for the locals. A particular highlight is Profumerie Piselli a perfume/ cosmetic shop just around the corner from the square.

It was perfect for what we wanted as a family of 3.

It was perfect for what we wanted as a family of 3. We were travelling from the north to the south and used it as an overnight stop. It was very rural and peaceful which we liked, and Emanuela was very helpful in arranging a table at the local Osteria. They have horses there and a very friendly dog called Missy, who was a great favourite with my daughter. If you want an overnight stop during your holiday I'd highly recommend it.

The beautiful pittoresque old town and its wonderful buildings. The location of the tourist information on the wrong side of the highway, Taake was surprised by all the possible obstacles. I got the feeling that the city really doesn't even want tourists in its village. The mural was wonderful, but nobody or anything said anything about it either. The cycling route that runs through the city is really great, it should just be brought to more awareness. The tourism marketing of this city needs a strong shake-up, because the city really has a lot to offer to tourists who appreciate nature and exercise and good local food and drink.

Bologna is a great city.

Bologna is a great city. Full of interesting architecture and art. The small streets off the Piazza Maggiore are so full of great food shops, eateries and bars that you really don't have to venture further afield. Of you do, the buses are so easy to use but really the centre is contained it's easy to walk to most places.

Restaurant: From the accommodation we got a tip about the restaurant Ristorante Pizzeria "Itaca" in Calderara di Reno - excellent 👍 (10min. by a car) Visit Bologna: Bologna is a very busy town with narrow streets. I strongly do not recommend going into the historic centre by a car. Use the underground garages on the outskirts of the historic centre - e.g. on Via Riva di Reno and then walk

We loved the town, it is lively enough, with restaurants,...

We loved the town, it is lively enough, with restaurants, cafes and shops, but less touristy than Bologna which we had visited before that. We felt much safer and relaxed here in Imola. We enjoyed the walk in the historical centre, a visit to the Duomo, walking in the Acque Minerali park. Unfortunately, the fortress was closed for reconstruction at the time but we observed it at least from the outside and learned about its history from a very useful app. It's called VisitARe Imola app and we loved it, it's exactly what you need for individual sightseeing of the city and the surroundings. The kids enjoyed having a look at the Imola circuit and driving in the simulators. And other sights in the region are within a reasonable driving distance. The closest is Dozza, which we felt in love with but also a longer trip to San Marino and Rimini was absolutely worth it. And strangely perhaps, we liked the walk around the Piratello cemetery. It is really impressive and even more so in the time of our visit - just two days before All Saints' Day.
