The hotel is very cozy, quiet and feels very historic - there's a ton of different historic pictures and posters in the hotel which we really enjoyed going through and learning something new on each day of our stay. Breakfast is fantastic, especially loved local honey and butter from the farm. Restaurant is also great for dinners (we missed our lunches), homemade deserts is something I'd definitely would advise not to miss! Super friendly staff, we felt like at home during these three days! Thank you so much Emma Hotel!

The staff were so kind and accommodating and I would recommend coming here just for them alone. The beds and blankets were so comfortable I never wanted to get up. Our room looked onto a mountain and it felt so surreal, even just walking out the front of the hotel you were met with stunning scenery. If you want to see the three peaks or Lago di Brais or literally any other big monument they are a 5 minute walk away from the bus stop, just make sure to book your tickets. The food here was also amazing you have a beautiful buffet in the morning and a 5 course meal at night which was delicious. My boyfriend and I were backpacking and although this was a on the pricier side for us it was completely worth it and would come here again. Also it was a 10 minute walk from the station so no need for a car.

Hotel is a hidden gem. Very nice secluded location on the pass right before Sesto, sorounded with mountains, very romantic and very scernic. Hotel is a very good four star hotel, very clean, trooms are comfortable, bathrooms are big,bright and very clean. There is quite big wellness wuith a beautiful pool, jaccuzzi and different saunas. Breakfast is superb and dinner beyond everything. And they have very good and professional staff. We will definitely come again, we just hope, they will have the same chef also next year:-)

Amazing winter stay – highly recommended! I stayed at this hotel during the winter and it was absolutely fantastic. The location is perfect – right in the center of the town, just a 10-minute walk to the ski slope, which is beautifully lit in the evenings. The hotel has an incredible atmosphere and stylish interior design that made the stay truly special. The wellness area is excellent – there's a great indoor pool and outstanding saunas. One of the saunas is located on the rooftop with a breathtaking view of the mountains, and right next to it is a jacuzzi – perfect after a day on the slopes. The owners – Renate, Barbara and Hannes – were incredibly kind and welcoming. I especially have great memories of talking with Hannes, the "head of the hotel" – he was warm, attentive and always available for a good conversation. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a winter getaway. It was an unforgettable experience and I would definitely come back!

Everything! This is a timeless and classy place. You feel transported to another time where you’ll feel so welcome like you’re walking into a family house. Although the property is old they made enough renovations and furniture to feel contemporary. I usually avoid staying in older places because of the smell but this property was perfectly maintained and modernised for a luxurious feel. You’ll have a lot of options of things to do and the little town is just one walk away. Amazing breakfast and the tea thing they make in the afternoon is so so cool!

Dobbiaco is a really beautiful town.

Dobbiaco is a really beautiful town. There is a train station for trips to other nearby towns or into Austria. The bus service is excellent. You can go for hikes up the Dolomites and reach the famous three peaks. So much to do. The drinking water is amazing.

Easy to get around by car, i have noticed there are buses too Be mindful, most shops open for 2 sessions mostly around 9-1pm and 3-7pm But cafes and restaurant usually opens all day Arrive early at the mountains for easy parking, be sure to make reservation at least one day in advance if going to visit the three zinnen Make sure keep a few euros at hand if need to use public toilet, otherwise, can use toilet in cafe if you make a purchase

Landscape is beautiful, well organizes services, buses, etc., people are very polite (only not nice experience was in MTB academy) and the other remark is that on Sunday all the shops are closed which is not usually in other cities in Italy.

Extremely touristy but also extremely beautiful. The lake struggles with too many cars and too many visitors. We were able to get a special pass to parking because we were actually staying in the valley which is preferable but expensive.

Can't say much about it, really, because our main goal was skiing, so we spent most of the time in Kronplatz, which is just 10 min away by train (station Percha). But we find time for a walk in Villabassa center and also had a great dinner at Emma restaurant (if I remember correctly the name), Overall, it's a quite clean town, which should be even nicer in the warmer periods of the year.

Nice village, easy to stroll around - few shops, caffees, restaurant available. Great for cross country skiing - Dobbiaco is linked with all neighbour villages and long distance trails are also starting from here. Easy access by car and skibus to 3Zinnen ski lifts.

San Candido is a picture perfect town nestled amongst the most beautiful mountain range in Europe , it has everything you need for a family holiday in the Dolomites , bars, restaurants and independent shops , I would highly recommend a visit .

Bus transportation was free and fairly frequent. There is not much in the center of Sesto, It feels like a passing route rather than a village, unlike San Candido where there are shops and cafes and restaurants. None of that in Sesto. Good place to stay if you want to hike around and nothing else. I think I would rather stay in San Candido or Villabassa next time. If you stay in Sesto make sure you stay at a hotel that serves breakfast and dinner. If you have an apartment you will need to cook as there is no good restaurant option.

Braies is very beautiful location, nice lake, good parking and food. It us better to come in the morning, because of changing wheather and a lot of tourists. The boat renting is expensive 50€/person/ 1/2 hour.

A small what seemed to be more local town, which I liked. Only a handful of restaurants with unpredictable hours as google was sometimes wrong. Not a reason to not stay here though, really enjoyed the town and the lack of tourists.
