From the moment we arrived, everything about Hotel Bel Soggiorno felt right. The staff were friendly and professional, the hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the views were simply breathtaking. Breakfast was excellent, and the overall atmosphere made us genuinely glad we had chosen to stay here. A thoughtful touch—we left early on checkout and the kitchen prepared a little takeaway bag for the road. We also appreciated the old-school charm of leaving the key at the front desk, which meant no need to carry it around. One of our favourite moments was reading on our private terrace, shaded by an umbrella and soaking in the warm glow of the Sicilian sun. Just a beautiful, feel-good stay from start to finish.

Giuseppe prepared our breakfast, our dinner and we later found out that he practically built and owns the place. If he sees my review, I just hope that me saying "you are a model for me " was said thinking to a role model in life, a person that inspires. We recently stayed at this hotel and was truly impressed by the experience! The pool was absolutely fantastic—modern, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing day. The rooms were immaculate, with everything looking new and kept in pristine condition, which made the stay extra comfortable. The food was excellent as well; every meal was fresh and delicious, with a great variety of options that catered to different tastes. On top of all that, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

To be honest, i was bit suspicious about not being close to the beach, but you dont have to worry about that at all. There are frequent shuttle buses to the beach and you have free access (2 sunbeds 1 umbrella). All of the staff were great, always smiling and helpful. Animator team was awesome, every single one of them were very good at their job(special thanks to Leandro, Denzel and Sara). Facilities were a bit old but very well maintained and very clean. Food was delicious, there were sufficient selection of alcohol, all inclusive recommended. All in all, I would definitely recommend here to anyone who is going to giardini naxos. If I ever come here again I am not staying anywhere else.

The hotel is beautiful and offers excellent wellness facilities. The rooms are a bit simple for a 4-star hotel, but this is quite common in Italy. Still, they have everything you need, and the bed was very comfortable! The hotel’s private parking lot was very convenient — we always found a space for our car. There are nice restaurants and bars within walking distance, and the meeting point for Etna tours is just a short 20-minute drive away. Overall, a great stay!

The views of Isola Bella are amazing, the swimming pool was inviting, the rooms are clean and basic, the AC worked great, they opened the bar so we could enjoy a spritz on the balcony, they let us grab a cafe before the breakfast hours as we had an early flight. Reception staff were kind and professional. We will stay here again, very quiet and relaxing!

The views are exceptional and the staff at the reception especially Matteo is very helpful. The food if basic but nice and Angelo at the restaurant is very helpful too. If you are travelling with a wheelchair the hotel is very wheelchair friendly and you can roam around everywhere with a wheelchair. The hotel is also very clean.

It's great to explore for a day or two but it's definitely touristy and full of overpriced shops. For my vibe I would have preferred to have spent my days lodging in Castelmola and then along Etna -- I'm more of a small town-vibe traveler and I enjoy getting to know and spending time with the locals.

Out of season, it’s a beautiful place with friendly locals, great prices, excellent coffee and croissants, delicious pizzas and Aperol. Everything is within easy reach — I used public transport a lot and also enjoyed walking around.

1 or 2 nights is just right depending on weather. Lots to explore if you're in good shape. Dormant and extint cones, some small and some large. Lots of up and down hiking. Great shopping village and numerous restaurants to chose from.

The host,Marco, was great.

The host,Marco, was great. He made great suggestions for dining.The apartment was very nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable. The view of Mount Etna and the ocean was a real plus. We didn’t see too much of Acireale because we did day trips to Etna and Taormina. Travel was difficult,but worthwhile when we got to our destinations. Due to some guests physical limitations,we didn’t walk around the city too much. Would recommend this Apartment.

Breakfast is served in an authentic traditional dining room, where you can admire a wood-fired oven once used for baking, cooking, and heating. The breakfast itself was truly fresh — warm bread and pastries, amazing olive oil made by the host, mozzarella, about seven different kinds of honey, and excellent coffee with no limits. I also really appreciated the very accommodating self check-in late after midnight. Right in front of the accommodation begins the access road to Mount Etna. Unfortunately, we didn’t have good weather — heavy fog and rain made it unsafe to continue to the summit — so we turned back. But we’ll definitely return another time and stay at the same place again.

Ragalna is a small village part of the metropolitan city of Catania. It is south of the etna volcano and about 20km from Etna Refugio Sapienza. It is a very quiet town and has everything you would need, such as supermarkets, Restaurants, vegetable Shops and Salmuneria Shops. Also playground for kids in the town square.

Giarre and neighbouring Riposto are unspoilt small towns with few tourists. We were the only foreigners wherever we ate. La Tavernetta was our favourite. The seafood market in Riposto was a perfect source for the meals we cooked in our suite. Driving in Sicily is fun as long as you copy the locals. Use Apple maps for navigation - Google maps was useless.

If you are looking for an area that is less touched by...

If you are looking for an area that is less touched by tourism but still with plenty of facilities in resort, you can not go wrong. Public transport can take you into Catania (about 40 mins) for historical visit and choice of shopping experiences, but the long flat promenade, excellent restaurants. We dinned mostly at Pellegrino Pizzeria as the stay are so friendly, very good food and very reasonable prices. Walking between AciTrezza and AciCastello is very easy for a change of scenery and there are wide choices of boat trips from the harbour. There are also several diving companies for those looking to go under the water rather than view it on top.

It is a nice place if you chose to stay near Catania, but you need a car to get there. The parking is ok - there are a couple of parking lots near by. Since it was end of the season there were lots of places for free ( white lines). The apartment is nicely designed and has plenty of space, and the balcony overlooks the sea, and the view is stunning. The bathroom, however, needs to be freshened up, especially the plumbing and the shower. The owners might have been more outgoing and friendly.

Host were lovely, location wasn't great for finding...

Host were lovely, location wasn't great for finding something to eat. Room was located in basement, lacking some modern facilities, cooker used bottled gas. Room was large and you could see that it could sleep 4 or more people, with at least 3 sofa beds in place as well as the double bed.
