I loved the stay here.
I loved the stay here. It was accessible on foot, the weather was great, (September.). The locals were friendly. The environment was beautiful and greenery edged around the lovely architecture. Its a hidden gem with a heartbeat of Catholicism within its foundations due to the site offered to Pilgrims in honour of the faith and Padre Pio. Do visit if you can!Guest review byTinaUnited Kingdom - 10
Vieste is fantastic!!
Vieste is fantastic!! Wonderful people working at all the cafes, restaurants, and shops. Our favorite place was Fresh! right across the street. We had coffee there every morning and spritzes overlooking the water every afternoon. The staff there are the best!! We also had gelato at the place across the street every night. Our favorite meals were at Acqua and Il Capriccio, both amazing. We also enjoyed Padre Pio and sandwiches at Antichi Sapori. We walked every day to the San Lorenzo beach and back, and rented chairs and an umbrella there twice. Lovely!! We were there during the Vieste in Love festival which was magical.Guest review byGlennMexico - 6.0

The town is very nice, the closest beaches are not (both in Manfredonia and in Siponto are quite bad). We visited many beautiful beaches on north. Manfredonia is a nice town with a car, you can visit a lot of interesting places around.Guest review byPeterSlovakia - 10
Sea, mountains, forest so beautiful!
Sea, mountains, forest so beautiful! The town has a few bars and restaurants enough for a week- 10 days though if you go down to the beach there are lots more there, but it’s a drive from the town it’s too far to walk. Loved the live music in the town on some nights, the restaurants get busy and some needed booking.Guest review bycarolyneUnited Kingdom - 2.0

Peschici was great but our mistake was booking a stay at Villa di Pasquale. They gave us a very uncomfortable unit with no hot water. They told us in writing they would refund us for the 2 nights we did not use, then refused to do so. I've stayed in dozens of places all over Italy and Villa di Pasquale was by far the worst.Guest review byLotane - 10

Monte Sant'Angelo: the hidden jewel in Gargano. It takes time to let its special qualities sink in, but then, one is addicted to its serene ambience, its wonderful people, its superb light, sky, nature and culture. And FOOD!Guest review byMARIOItaly - 10

Rodi is a charming village with nice beaches, beautiful little port, loads of great restaurants. Accessibility is not so great given it is 2 to 4 hours from the airports (Pescara 2hr and astronomical prices, Bari 2h30, Naples 3h30, Rome 4hr). Evening walks in the old village are wonderful, loads of life and great food.Guest review byAdrianaUnited Kingdom - 10

It's a very local place, something where no tour guide would direct you. We had a really good pizza on the beach during sunset. Technically it was the beach restaurant so during the day it's packed with families, kids, teenagers... but during the evening it was quite cool, super good food, lovely staff, and incredible view of the empty beach and sunset with Tremiti islands in sight. The 'city' also has plenty of street food places and small grocery shops and local fruit and vegetable vendors where you can buy great stuff like taralli, provolone or 'muscisc'. We also spent a day on a wild sandy and windy beach with not too many people in sight so I am definitely planning our next stay while we descend to the very end of Puglia.Guest review byBarbaraItaly - 10

Seaside resort - limited activity as early in season as my April stay. And the beaches are also too cold in April. But then, not as crowded as it may be in peak summer season. But the whole peninsula offers lots of lovely views and walks. Town is rather steep - it may not be very suited if you’re not fully mobile. Note a train service may make it easier to get there.Guest review byMan Of The WorldDenmark - 4.0

Foce Varano is an almost abandoned place - it seems like it used to be touristy but at least in June is empty. Going there we went through a road with more than 2 abandoned hotels and the central area is not welcoming.Guest review byAntoniaGreece
