Our stay at Bled Rose was nothing short of incredible. Nestled right at the edge of the stunning Lake Bled, this hotel offers a breathtaking view that left us speechless every morning. To our delight, we were upgraded to a superior double room, which featured a spacious balcony with what must be the best view of the lake. The room itself was beautifully decorated, with vibrant and tasteful colors that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every detail of the decor added to the overall charm of the hotel, making it feel luxurious yet cozy. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality was flawless. We even received water and biscuits for our journey home upon checking out. The location couldn’t have been more perfect—it was just steps away from the lake and close to all the major sights, yet peaceful and serene. It was the ideal place to relax and soak in the natural beauty of Bled. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lake Bled. From the incredible views to the outstanding service, every aspect of our stay was perfect 😊

I had the incredible privilege of being the very first guest at Hotel Julian Alps, which officially opens on June 1st. While looking for a place to stat, u stumbled upon this beautiful, brand new hotel. I asked a manager if it would be possible to get a room before the official opening, and he graciously allowed me to stay. the experience was amazing. The hotel still had that fresh, new feel and the staff was welcoming eager to ensure everything went smoothly. My room was impeccably clean, comfortable and well equipped, with all the modern amenities you could ask for. It felt like a luxury stat and i was truly blown away by how well everything was prepared, even before the official opening. The hotel design is stunning, with beautiful interiors and cozy atmosphere. U cant wait for this place to officially open so i can recommend it to others. Im so glad i found it and had a chance to be the first guest.

Absolutely everything! The staff were exceptional, always friendly and attentive. The room was superb, beautifully appointed with a wonderful bath where you could lie and gaze at the stunning mountain views. To top everything off the restaurant served the most amazing food and is well worthy of its two Michelin stars!

the room was spacious, with a nice balcony and views, comfy beds, a desk which was useful since I had to work a little. It had a fridge, I asked for a kettle which was imediately provided and a TV which I didn't use. Very clean and comfortable in general! Breakfast was very varied and abundant, the service all very friendly at reception, housekeeping, and breakfast. All smiling and ready to answer and help. There's a gym, pool and sauna all well maintained and clean, the common areas are great to spend time reading or enjoying while talking with people you are with. There's a bar area too and some tables outside which I found nice to have some tea with views.

Bled is wonderful, and the walkway around the lake is great. In December, there are also food and drink stalls available, as well as evening concerts. The food offer is excellent and diverse. I recommend it.

Wonderful place in December when we visited. Walking around Lake Jasna was enjoyable, especially with the fire near the restaurant and Christmas decorations, The town is beautiful and was very active on a Sunday afternoon. We enjoyed Pizza in the old part of town at a local restaurant.

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

Tarvisio is a hidden gem, where you can ski, hike and have a great time with family and friends. Everyone is friendly and inviting. We went specifically to see the Krampus Parade and for a day of skiing and exploring of the town and region. The trip didn't disappoint. We would love to come back for New Years but availability of accommodation prevents us from doing so. BUT we will be back for next year's Krampus.

Lesce is a local residential village so nothing special is really happening there. It is quite small and very quiet with supermarkets in the vicinities. The best thing about Lesce is it central location to all the major areas around Lake Bled.

The small village of Mojstrana is at the beginning of the climbing area for Triglav, and the place is amazing—calm and beautiful. Houses and backyards are so clean, and the stream in the center of village is so cute. If you like bike tour there is bike road toward Kranjska Gora.

If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. If you enjoy walking, it's also ideal. It takes about half an hour to reach Lake Bled and around 40 minutes to get to the Vintgar Gorge. All around are beautiful Slovenian villages.

Rateče is a small village in the northwest corner of Slovenia, literally a few hundred meters from the Italian border. The tourist resort of Kranjska Gora is located 6 km to the east, and the Slovenian Alpine Museum in Mojstrana 20 km to the east. Very scenic Fusina lakes are 8 km to the west. The interesting little town of Tarvisio is also nearby in Italy. The area offers nice hiking and cycling possibilities, exploring the 19th and early 20th century military fortresses, and also exploring the interesting small baroque churches. Walks in the surroundings of Rateče are fantastically tranquil and relaxing. The area also offers some nice restaurants with traditional food, as well as very tasteful cheeses! Planica Nordic Centre is located 3 km to the south from Rateče. The Alpe Adria Cycling Path runs along the abandoned but very scenic old railway Tarvisio - Jesenice!

Bled is beautiful.

Bled is beautiful. The area around the lake is stunning and the boat trip to the island in a Pletna has to be experienced. We walked up to the castle via the road as the alternate route by steps was too difficult for us. The views were spectacular. We had dinner in the castle restaurant (a 4-course tasting menu) which was absolutely delicious. We took a taxi from our hotel and back as we did not want to walk in the dark. It cost us 20euros each way. There is a little train that you can ride on around the whole lake which gives a good feel for the area. We were staying at the Bled Rose Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis but found a wonderful place to eat, within a 5 minute walk of the hotel, called Art Cafe. Would highly recommend it. There was a very good choice of dishes, the place itself was very clean and the staff friendly and efficient. Thankfully everyone spoke English. If you want to sample the famous Bled Cake then I would suggest you get it from the supermarket (about a 10min walk from the hotel as the crow flies) because it is a third of the price. We bought ours by the lake at a cost of 26euros for 4 pieces whereas the supermarket was less then 5euros for 4. We still enjoyed it though.
