Everything was perfect. This place is magical! Spectacular house (we stayed in villa which is big) with exceptional history and river flowing under the house, surrounded by the most beautiful garden, where you can always find a place to rest and hide from the sun on a hot day or chill in a swimming pool. There is even outdoor oven in the garden, where you can have bbq or make pizza. The host is very kind and helpful and can tell very interesting stories regarding the history of the house. The place is situated out of the way, so it is quiet and peaceful, however on the other hand very close to supermarket and c.a. 10-15 min walk to the Marta town center with restaurants, bars and Bolsena Lake. This place is even more beautiful in real life than it looks in the photos. Would definately come back.

The best of this camping was that is was right on the lake.. how great is was to get up and to enjoy a great swim in the quiet waters, with the most fantastic view.. The camping was very wel organized. the camping shop had everything even fresh bread, there was animation in the evening, and there was a bar with a nice terrace. We even saw that there was a surf school. The village is a bit far by foot I guess, but we had a car ( there is a great parking for the cars just outside the camping) and then the village is easy to reach. The old part is amazing and the boulevard has a nice turning wheel which alows you to see the lake from above. We only stayed one night, but it left us a great memory. Certainly a place I would like to go back.

The room was cozy and with a great balcony with amazing views to the lake.
The treatment received was charming and familiar. We checked in late, and there was no problem.
The whole dining room has views to the lake and the breakfast was good. We loved the deco and the staff.
This is a hidden gem 💎 in the middle of Italy 🇮🇹

The place was really beautiful, the owner was wonderful and very friendly. We had a spacious apartment with a kitchenette, fridge and everything. And the view of the river is just amazing and the sea is just a small drive away. Also the pool was very clean and a nice place to just hang out. All in all a great place to stay!

The apartment we stayed in, was all new and very good.
The location on the top of the hill offers a beautiful view of the lack and the access to the lack and the city are easy.

Lake Bolsena is a beautiful place with many accommodation...
Lake Bolsena is a beautiful place with many accommodation options available. The water temperature in Sep was like a warm bath. There are many local cafes and restaurants to choose from, but not all were open throughout our stay. During the siesta period you will find only limited eateries and the supermarket is open for business. We recommend the Antica Trattoria del Corso Pizzeria for the Calamari and Prawns and the prova le Nostre Specialta Pizzaria da Flavio pizzas. You can drive around lake Bolsena to visit the other towns like Montefiascone and the Rocco dei Papi Museum of architecture.

Montefascione was a great one night stop over. The whole area is steeped in history and well worth the visit. There are numerous bars and restaurants and prices are good. We have no complaints but one night was satisfactory.

Very clean, comfortable apt. Grat location close to everything. The A/C was much appreciated. Would use it again 😊 had supper at il Pirata, nice restaurant, make sure you drive its a long walk otherwise. Getting around was very easy.

Boldens is really pretty and quiet, with a busy shopping street with lots of small local shops and a scenic old town on the hill with amazing views. Bolsena is a traditional town where the shops are mainly open in the morning 8-1pm and then closed till 5-7pm, most restaurants only open at 7pm for eating out but some do lunch menus. The lake at Bolsena is great for swimming, sand on the beach is dark and dusty (volcanic) and there are 3 different free beach areas. The water was warm in July, gravely at the shore but then sandy a metre or so out and gradually gets deep so safe for kids, we swam every day. We loved our time here as it was so quiet and pretty

Montefiascone is a small town with a lot going for it.
Montefiascone is a small town with a lot going for it. It is rich with history and some of the streets take you back in time. It also has Lake Bolsena at its door which has opportunities to swim, boat and eat amazing pizza down by its shores. Everyone takes pride in what they do there, down to the restaurants and bike shops. It was everything you'd expect a charming little Italian village to be!

The lake, the boulevard and at the end the pot of gold manifested as an absolute great coffee bar.
Finishing your stay at the beach stroll through the Allee with plantanes and hortensia's towards the city. Yes it is a challenge to climb to the castle, but you are rewarded, just do it!
Then downn again and enter the newer part through the gate and sit at the square with the beautifully fontain. Interested in more? Go back and walk towards the church and drink an essepresso and enjoy the Italian life, passing as a movie.! Hungry? Along the lake Casa Patricia, La Gabbiano serving good food, on the square la mora abit more styles. In town the unbeatable pizza at LA Francigena with the best actress in town as servant. Indeed Bolsena has it all!

Cute town. Luciana told us to go to lake for a pizza. We got a pizza and took it back to house to eat on the terrace. Montefiascone was a cute town to walk about and have a drink. Le Finece house is an excel location to see sights in the area.
