Wonderful service and staff. The first time we experienced the owners restaurant 45 years ago and keep coming back. The hotel and the restaurant are both worth experiencing. Me and My Wife came to Rome for 4 days from the 15th . 10 until today the 19th . 10 . we have choosen this Hotel eventhough it is a little bit far from the Cental of rome. However . from the Moment we have Arraived we have been Welcomed by a Warm Welcome and by a big smile By Martina ( and not only Martina. wvery there is super professional ) from the Reception . the Room was Superb . Double King bed . everything was clean . Hot water in the Shower . Hot free charge drinks at the Lobby . Grab&Go corner and a refrigerator to use to store water . 3 or less minuts by walk to the Ciampiano station and from there 11 minutes to Tremini . Highly reccomeds . thank you Hotel Ciampino for a great Exp. Michael and Dana

We actually stayed here at first day in our trip I booked this one twice with another booking trying to find somewhere safe to stay but the transport closed after a certain time so it couldn't get there BUT don't let that info take you away from it, there's a old converted stable where we stayed and it was amazing very comfy and a restaurant and brekky on site

Frascati is a small, pleasant town with a good range of bars...

Frascati is a small, pleasant town with a good range of bars, restaurants, cafes and gelateria. A taxi from Ciampino airport takes 20-30 minutes and costs €50-60. It is a particularly good place to stay if you want to be near Rome but not actually staying in the city. Eating out is much cheaper and the town is relatively quiet and relaxed. As a bonus, the transport links are excellent. Rome is just 30 minutes or so by train from a small station right in the centre, with trains every hour on weekdays and every two hours on Sundays. And nearby places of interest such as Castel Gandolfo, Ariccia and Velletri, are accessible by regular buses from the main square (Piazza Marconi).

Spending two nughts was less of a riush. The only disappointment is the lack of information about the ooening times of Borga Laudato Si so despite soending two nighrs there it was not open on Friday. My host was great

Very friendly host. Clean room and bathroom. Quiet neighborhood. Good food and grocery stores at walking distance. Close to Castel Gandolfo lake and sightseeing. Great place to stay if coming by car. Parking inside the premises. On the down side, WiFi was not very reliable.

The quiet.

The quiet. The house keepers the farm cat, we fed during our stay. Other guests very noisy when they arrived or went out, forgetting there were other guests staying. It might be an Italian thing to be noisy. The staff weren’t very welcoming upon our arrival and the internet only available at reception and out by the pool, not available in the room.

It's a nice place to stay considering the cost and with good breakfast. It's a good place to stay after a long day travel. The bed was quite comfortable. Aircon was working fine. Except my room's (#210) shower drainage was plugged and water went down extremely slow. The location is not ideal but if you have a car and a GPS, you should be fine. It takes 45 min. from Collosseum to the hotel, 45 min. to the airport (FCO). There's nothing around the area, like shopping malls or attractions.

Velletri is a cozy and a nice hilltop town . The people are friendly and helpful . The foods , gastromy, cafe are nice and cheap too ( in Europe) . We definitely strongly recommended Velletri. The visit is worthwhile and unforgettable.

Beautiful area with easy transport links to Rome, Good local facilities with plenty of shops and supermarkets. Dining out was disappointing, the food was overpriced and not as good as I had previously enjoyed in Italy. For example, I was served an undercooked pizza and a risotto with scampi that arrived with only 1 scampi (second plate). This was in high season which also affected service, I almost left one restaurant without paying I had to wait so long for my bill.

Nothing special - it was a visit to my mum who is in a rest home. Vitit the pizzeria "the civette sul como'" it is good. Albano, a nice village, is very close, and it is a short drive to Castel Gandolfo (lake) and Tor Vaianica (beach)
