A very pleasant hotel in the old part of town in a renovated old building. Very good breakfast, clean and spacious room. The hotel can be reached by car for loading/unloading luggage, and there is free parking nearby. The staff is very kind and friendly. The place is in a very good location for visiting Tuscany. We would choose this hotel again.

A quiet place that provides an atmosphere for a quiet and relaxing vacation. The food is good for breakfast and dinner. On the taxi ride over, you are greeted with a breathtaking view of Tuscan vineyards, and it only gets better from there. We were welcomed by the lovely Andrea, and he helped us get settled in and gave us a tour of the place. Once we got into our rooms, we were in awe of all the decor, and we almost fell asleep immediately because of how comfortable the beds were. Instead, we rested by the pool and got a few cocktails (I recommend the Hugo spritz and the Il Segreto). We were so relaxed, time flew by so quickly. Soon came dinner, and it felt like luxury to have so many courses be presented to you, and they all tasted delightful. The next day, we trekked to San Gimignano, which allowed us to see the beautiful views (or you can take the bus). If you plan to go on a Thursday, I recommend checking if Gelateria dondoli has gelato making classes. Otherwise, I recommend eating some Italian Garden gelato at their store. Be sure to check out the tower and cathedral as well. We were also greeted by the lovely Pedro and Diego during our second dinner, and they have been the best hosts I have ever met. They are so attentive, always willing to help, and if you need any recommendations or directions, they are very resourceful. I recommend asking if there are any cooking classes because we had so much fun making lunch. And I recommend going for the Florentine steak for at least one of the nights because it was one of the best steaks we have ever had. Overall, the staff are amazing, the food and drinks are delightful and the amenities you will love. It was the best part of our trip, and is now my favourite place in Europe. We'll definitely be coming back.

Heaven on Earth. A place where time could stand still. Breathtaking nature, and such lovely, kind, and helpful staff and owners. The food was incredibly delicious! The breakfast selection was unbelievably large and unbelievably good. Dining at the restaurant in the evening is an absolute must – a flavor experience you won't forget. We had booked a suite (a separate cottage with a large private terrace), and it was 100% worth the money! Every little detail has been thought of at Podere Bellavista – truly every single one! We already want to go back… and we plan to do that someday defently!

The staff was excellent. They went above and beyond to help me and my group. Incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. It's always difficult dealing with a group of 20+ people but they never once made it seem like they were bothered by us even when our situation was definitely a bit annoying. We were a wedding party. my husband as he is now sourced both the venue and the accommodation. it was absolutely perfect. The town garden suited us with family as each had their own bathroom. 3 adult children plus two grandchildren which was great. The location was fantastic, lots of places to eat and near the ice cream shop! We got married at the town hall which again was so beautiful and special. The town garden was near the wedding venue which again made it ideal for walking in heels!! it was as they say perfect.

The apartement was even nicer than pictures. There was oil and a bit of vinegar as well as salt and pepper. It would have been nice to have a few more amenities. Fantastic little town with tonnes of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The museum ticket is great value as it gets you into lots of the historic sights. We enjoyed the weaponry exhibit as you were allowed to hold and try on the different artefacts which was cool! We parked nearby and paid with card on exit (only line up at the ticket machine if you’re paying cash). The onsite wine shop (connected to the popular winery near by) was delicious too. Would definitely recommend this town for people to visit and dine at!

I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count. This is my first time stopping in and staying in Colle di Val d'Elsa. The location is very close to all the major sites in Tuscany. Volterra and San Gimignano are extremely closeby as well as Chianti. There is a charm to the old town area of Colle di Val d'Elsa, not a ton of tourists like the other sites in the area.

We used Empoli as a base as the train station offered many possibilities as a central hub. We did however really enjoy a lovely walk in the scenic hills. The center was clean and had a really nice vibe to it and the locals were very friendly. We were also told by a historian that the city had a good museum of art although we didn't have time to investigate further unfortunately due to time.

Cute little spot, we only stayed there for one evening on our way down to Val D'Orcia from Pisa Airport. The town itself is lovely, we came on a Thursday evening and wandered into the village for a pizza at Happy Days which was great and so tasty, the staff were also lovely. There was also some great karaoke going on at one of the bars which seemed to be locals and some tourists enjoying their evening. It was lovely! Definitely recommend visiting here, there seemed to be lots more lovely restaurants too.
