The view is just simply breath taking, to be able to have your breakfast outdoors overlooking the hills was a major highlight of our trip. A very classic Tuscan hotel, very clean, staff were super friendly and not only was the view incredible, the breakfast itself was far more than we expected with all homemade cakes, croissants etc. it felt like home from home.

The food, the service, the incredibly attentive staff. Everything was exceptional! When we first showed up, we were a little wary of being out of a bustling city Center. We were immediately greeted with the most beautifully decorated, pristine courtyard & a glass of Prosecco. Anthony, Maria & Serena were all amazing. They helped us make the most of our stay and we were truly so sad to leave. We mistakenly forgot to book a car and the hotel manager Anthony literally drove us to a recommended winery, arranged a beautiful tasting & lunch, waited for us to finish and then drove us back. I’m not joking when I say the service is exceptional. This hotel is very special and made such a memorable honeymoon destination. We are already looking into when we can come back.

A Dreamy Tuscan Villa Stay – Highlight of Our Italian Road Trip This villa was the absolute highlight of our Italian road trip. Nestled among cypress-lined pathways, its entrance alone sets the tone for a serene and picturesque escape. Surrounded by its own vineyard and olive orchards, the property offers breathtaking views and a true taste of Tuscany. The restaurant overlooks the sunset, making every dinner a memorable experience. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are generously sized, adding to the comfort of the stay. One of our favourite features was the pool set amidst olive trees—a peaceful spot to relax, read, and watch the kids play. The pool is open from morning to late evening. I was able to swim quite a few laps as well. With fewer rooms than large resorts, the atmosphere is calm, clean, and never overcrowded. The villa produces its own wine and olive oil, and the staff are incredibly polite and courteous. A special mention goes to Giona, who went above and beyond to make our stay special, especially for my husband’s 40th birthday. The food was outstanding—freshly prepared and full of flavour. The pasta with tomato and aubergine was hands down the best we’ve ever had. For a potato lover like me, the roast potatoes were amazingly seasoned and soooo good. We tried every dessert on the menu, and each one was exceptional. Their house-baked biscotti was a lovely treat too. Breakfast was just right—a mix of sweet items, boiled eggs, cereals, cheese, bread, coffee, and juices. It was perfect for making a quick sandwich and starting the day without needing to venture out early. Our kids especially loved the sweet options! The villa’s location also makes it easy to explore nearby towns like Montepulciano and Siena, which is just about 1 hour and 15 minutes away. This stay was everything we hoped for and more—peaceful, scenic, and full of warmth. We would return in a heartbeat.

A beautiful place in Tuscany, highly recommended! We stayed for 2 nights in a cozy small flat that was equipped with everything and was clean and quiet. Absolutely LOVE Montepulciano; I have spent extended time here and brought a friend for 2 nights which she thought was perfect. Allowed enough time to see the town, enjoy long meals and leisurely walks to see everything and do some shopping while not having to rush - views are spectacular and people are all so nice and most have enough English to adequately communicate if you don't know any Italian. Wine is fantastic everywhere and it's not priced like a tourist town - prefer it to San Gimignano, Cortona, Orvieto, Todi and Assisi if you only have time to do one (they are all worth visiting though!). Train to Chiusi then bus straight into town if you don't want to rent a car - super simple & reliable schedule but there is free parking and plenty of paid lots if you do rent a car. Also centrally located with, easy visits to several smaller towns like Pienza, and Lucignano if you do have a car and want to extend your stay in same property.

Monticchiello is a great hill top village to stay overnight when travelling through Tuscany. Beautifully quiet in the evening but with a number of restaurants to choose from to suit all tastes.
