We loved this hotel and the staff were exceptional. The room was large, comfortable and well appointed . Spa facilities looked comprehensive and reasonably priced and the use of the lovely pool was a real bonus in the hot weather. Breakfasts and set menu dinners were all very enjoyable. Plenty of parking and beautiful setting.

It was a perfect stay : unique historical building, very helpful and super friendly owners Stefano and Isabella, tradicional and delicious home made food, nice spa, comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Everything about this place was amazing. When driving into the property, my partner and I were in awe of the look of the lodge and the surrounding landscape. When we walked in, we were greeted by 3 friendly dogs and the best complimentary hot chocolate we had in our entire lives. We were then shown our room which was super cosy, offering all the amenities and the most amazing view of the mountain range. We were then fed one of the best dinners of our lives, all home cooked then and there. Along side our dinner were board games and the company of the dogs. The hosts continually made sure we felt at home and always addressed our needs. They gave great hiking trail tips and even provided us with 2 more hot chocolates whilst taking about it. In the morning, we went for a walk with one of the dogs, were served complimentary eggs, cake and coffee for breakfast and went on our way. Overall, this stay was the absolute highlight of our trip and we will come again.

One of the most magical places we've stayed at. At the shore of a lake with a spectacular view, you need to hike for about 30 minutes uphill from the parking lot to reach it. They have a cable car for your luggage and the people there were extremely nice and took all our bags right to the room. The restaurant offecs very tasty food and there is breakfast; the rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. They have a little sauna which feels amazing and you can also jump in the lake after that - I highly recommend it.

The trekking routes can be reached on foot or with the Dolomiti Card, which is provided the day before your arrival and is valid for the entire duration of your stay. Pinzolo is a nice place to stay, 12 km from Madonna di Campiglio. There are many shops, markets, parks, and ski lifts if you want to ski. There’s plenty of parking places too, and it is not crowded as Madonna di Campiglio. I really recommend it.

Roncone is a small rural town but does have excellent hiking trails and two very good restaurants for such a small town. La Pozze restaurant is a short distance out of town and the Genzianella. Other than dining, there is very little to do in the evenings- which for us was a plus.

This isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a thoughtfully designed haven that captures the essence of the Italian Dolomites. Stefano's commitment to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere is evident in every detail. His friendliness and helpfulness enhanced our stay, making it even more special. As an interior designer, I was particularly impressed by how beautifully everything is curated, right down to the smallest details. The breakfast was a delightful treat, adding the perfect touch to our mornings. I only regret that we couldn’t stay longer, but we will definitely be back. I wholeheartedly recommend Maso Torbiera to anyone looking for an authentic and enchanting experience in the Dolomites. Thank you, Stefano, for an unforgettable stay!

It's a very good ski area, modern, well maintained, slopes well groomed. The resort itself is quite upmarket, the shops and restaurants were relatively expensive compared to other Italian resorts. Our restaurant experiences were not especially good in the town. Up the mountain, although the catering was good value, the quality of the food was not great, although better and a lot cheaper than you might find in France up the mountain. The resort is in the Dolomites, although not on the Sella Ronda, and the scenery is breath-taking. Overall, it's a very good ski area and ski resort, and I would definitely return.

A very nice place to go too.

A very nice place to go too. I went to a waterfall park, you had to pay for entrance, but you can enjoy yourself all day here. And this was the only place in the surrounding I went to. I bet there is more to see, looking at the possibilities and landscape. I loved this nice little town.

We ate mostly at the Cattoni Holiday Hotel which has excellent service and food. But we also ate at other restaurants nearby. The atmosphere is in the mountains so you had a lot of fresh air. There are other shops, food stores and bars all within walking distance.
