The staff is truly exceptional. The hotel was recently renovated, and the rooms are beautiful and quiet, with a large bed and a great shower. Breakfast is very good, and having freshly pressed orange juice is a great treat. The slope is just across from the hotel, so you can easily ski in and out, and you get a discounted rental when you stay at the hotel, which is appreciated.

The hotel was just what we needed in chaotic period of Christmas Holidays. There was never a lot of people, the pool area was empty dooring the sunny period from 11am-2pm so we somehow felt alone in a private spa. The temperature of the pools was 32 degrees and the outside heated pool often felt warmer. Location is quiet, don't expect any interesting restaurants and events. there is only beautiful nature and hiking options, with close proximity to great ski areas and old towns.

Pinzolo is a nice place to stay, 12 km from Madonna di Campiglio. There are many shops, markets, parks, and ski lifts if you want to ski. There’s plenty of parking places too, and it is not crowded as Madonna di Campiglio. I really recommend it.

The area is perfect for relaxing and exploring: gentle mountain hikes with stunning views, charming villages, and refreshing lakes nearby. It’s not overly touristy, which makes it feel authentic and calm. A great place for families who enjoy nature, fresh air, and slower-paced travel.

The whole place is eco-friendly and aims to protect the environment and minimize use of resources. First place I stayed that didn’t provide plastic water bottles! No plastic waste, fresh spring water from the sink, no plastic toxins in my drink.

Roncone is a small rural town but does have excellent hiking trails and two very good restaurants for such a small town. La Pozze restaurant is a short distance out of town and the Genzianella. Other than dining, there is very little to do in the evenings- which for us was a plus.

Stefano and his family have transformed what was once a massive barn into a stunning hotel, and their dedication to preserving the character of the space is truly remarkable. This isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a thoughtfully designed haven that captures the essence of the Italian Dolomites. Stefano's commitment to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere is evident in every detail. His friendliness and helpfulness enhanced our stay, making it even more special. As an interior designer, I was particularly impressed by how beautifully everything is curated, right down to the smallest details. The breakfast was a delightful treat, adding the perfect touch to our mornings. I only regret that we couldn’t stay longer, but we will definitely be back. I wholeheartedly recommend Maso Torbiera to anyone looking for an authentic and enchanting experience in the Dolomites. Thank you, Stefano, for an unforgettable stay!

The accommodation is perfectly located, the hosts are awesome(Thanks again Valentina for such a great experience), the food is wonderful(plenty of things for the breakfast and 3 different courses + 2 desserts to pick from for dinners, changed every night), locally sourced wines and beers, really really recommend it!

It's a very good ski area, modern, well maintained, slopes well groomed. The resort itself is quite upmarket, the shops and restaurants were relatively expensive compared to other Italian resorts. Our restaurant experiences were not especially good in the town. Up the mountain, although the catering was good value, the quality of the food was not great, although better and a lot cheaper than you might find in France up the mountain. The resort is in the Dolomites, although not on the Sella Ronda, and the scenery is breath-taking. Overall, it's a very good ski area and ski resort, and I would definitely return.

A very nice place to go too.

A very nice place to go too. I went to a waterfall park, you had to pay for entrance, but you can enjoy yourself all day here. And this was the only place in the surrounding I went to. I bet there is more to see, looking at the possibilities and landscape. I loved this nice little town.

We ate mostly at the Cattoni Holiday Hotel which has excellent service and food. But we also ate at other restaurants nearby. The atmosphere is in the mountains so you had a lot of fresh air. There are other shops, food stores and bars all within walking distance.
