South AfricaInitially, we had a minor issue with "Jamaican time" and ended up waiting close to an hour when we kept being told 5 - 10 minutes away. However, he drove us for free to get lunch at a nearby place. Also, on the day we were leaving, he drove us to the next resort and also to an atm in the opposite direction for no charge. In this city, taxis are ridiculously expensive for some reason, so even though the trips weren't very far, he actually saved us a lot of money. The room itself was really lovely. The view was amazing. Fully functional shared kitchen. Also gave us some free glasses of wine and an avocado from his garden. Overall, a really nice stay. A small walk to the main road but it didn't feel unsafe to me.

The food was nice, Big up to the Chefs, Waiters and Bartenders who made the lovely meals delicious. The quantity could have been better for some of the meals but non the less i am grateful. They have a variety of restaurants where you can pick, choose and refuse and i liked that.

The entertainment staff made you feel welcomed. The dining was excellent. Great food and service. We were impressed. Thanks to the staff in the Rose Hall Dining area especially Darren and Trudy Ann. Rooms were kept clean and tidy. We enjoyed the karaoke too.

Pork pit, Pier One and off course Pelican Grill great eating spots
Easy to get around. Knutsford express to most places in Jamaica and charter and private taxis.
Easy to walk around if you’re not adverse to sunshine.

Montego Bay was absolutely breathtaking — the views were stunning, the people were friendly, and the overall atmosphere was full of good vibes. Unfortunately, the hotel I stayed in was in poor condition and really should be closed until proper repairs and renovations are completed.
