United Arab EmiratesThe place was big. Staff is very nice and helpful. The room is like a villa type which has good views. I enjoyed the pool as well and most of all you can swim in the dead sea with a little effort with the stairs going back to the rooms. I liked the security of the place where the entrance of cars coming in has an extra spiked barricade so no intruders can come in.

unbelievably friendly and helpful host! really, Geries was outstanding. extremely attentive, responded immediately to any questions. the fridge was overflowing with food which was so kind of him. as for the resort- we feel so lucky that we found it! amazing pools, incredible view, just a short walk down to the beach for a soak in the water and to mud up! it exceeded expectations! thank you!

The hotel is very well located, with private beach and several swimming pools. All the staff is really nice, particularly Amayreh, who was really kind and helped us with all our requests. Breakfast was good, many options. I haven’t tried the lunch or dinner buffet, but we did go to the lebanese restaurant “Mezza”, and the food was really good.

The place needs some attention and could use a coat of paint and some general maintenance.
The staff are very nice, but why are there no women working there?
Overall we would recommend Mujib Chalets.
The site is so beautiful and the Dead Sea so weird that there is no place like it.

From the moment i arrived until i left i felt at home, everyone was kind, the owner his son and all his family. We had dinner together and I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful evening with all the relatives around a fire drinking tea. Safi Kitchen offers a variety of tours in the surrounding canyons and historical tours around the area. Excellent food, spacious apartment equipped with all comforts, internal parking. I will definitely come back. Thank you Safi Kitchen. Diego

Best for experiencing the Dead Sea at a leisurely pace. One should only select the locations having direct access to the dead sea. We stayed at the Samarah resort so didn't actually go into the city, and didn't feel the need to. The facilities here may not be as good as found in other parts of Jordan. It all depends on the hotel/ staying accommodation selected.
We also didn't explore the other tourist sites near Sowayma - if you feel the need to, then plan to stay for at least 3 nights.

I like the location and the staff at the bar. They were friendly and polite.
In my opinion this hotel should be 3 star. The breakfast had very limited choice of food; cleanliness much to be desire, staff didn't speak English (or barely speak) with bar staff be the exception.
However my worse experience was with the lady that was security guard at the entrance to the hotel.
I felt she was getting great pleasure in checking my grocery shopping!! Twice!!she was rude and und unpleasant . This was my third visit to Sowayma (different hotels) but never I felt so unwelcome
