Breakfast was quite good, but more important is that after I asked for another option rather than black coffee - the staff managed to come up with a solution and made a cup of Turkish coffee for me. In general the staff was incredibly helpful and met all of our needs. The room was quite spacious and clean. On top of it the hotel is just 4 minutes drive from Petra and we were given some tips and recommendations at the reception, which was very thoughtful. Thanks a lot, will definitely come back again!

The location of the hostel is amazing. The view from the restaurant and rooftop is unreal. The dorm room and dorm bathroom was so clean, and could tell that staff was in there daily to make sure everything was in good condition (even changing sheets after the first night of my stay!). The breakfast and dinner offered at the hostel are also a good price and amazing value for the options they have. Loved it. Also the staff were all super kind and helpful with everything.

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views over Wadi Dana. The landscaping is beautifully maintained, and the presence of animals on the property adds a truly special atmosphere. It’s far away from the crowds, so you can completely switch off and enjoy the peace and quiet. The owners care deeply about nature. They transport guests with an electric car, and they make an effort to serve food that is homegrown or organic, which we really appreciated. Maqdam and his parents were incredibly kind and accommodating throughout our stay, and the gardener welcomed us warmly as well—he was happy to show us the animals on the property, which was a delightful experience. The room itself is fairly basic and could use a bit more equipment, but the view over the valley more than makes up for it. Altogether, this place combines natural beauty, sustainability, and hospitality in a way that made our time here unforgettable. We left with heavy hearts, wishing we could have stayed longer.

My wife and I are very much happy staying at this hotel. First, the place is top notch clean, spacious, and very accomodating. Second, the hotel staff are warm and friendly. Third, the proximity to the Petra entrance is really close. Almost a stone throw away. Fourth, the buffet Breakfast and Dinner were delicious. It has a wide selection of food and desserts. We were warmly welcome and always assisted by Emad and his staff during our meals. Thank you so much...♥️ Definitely EDOM Hotel deserves its praise and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED when staying here in Petra. Good location - walking distance to city center, 5 minutes ride to Petra. Great view from breakfast room with balcony. Kind stuff, they offered us a “lunch box” for 5JD per person, which included in our case tuna samdwich, some sweets and juice. We picked it up after breakfast and it was perfect for our full day visit in Petra.

Absolutely beautiful place, but lots of scammers!

Absolutely beautiful place, but lots of scammers! Locals were very pushy. At first they are overly friendly, but this quickly turns to rude and aggressive if you don't tip, they will lie about directions and then insist they be your guide. Even if you say no they ask for Tip. You just need to be aware of your surroundings and try not to let the scammers bother you.

Probably my rating or comment is not suitable for every travelers as foreigner but living in Jordan for long time. Definitely, I need 5 star hotels in Dead Sea or Aqaba to refresh myself and my family regularly. But Dana is a great place to also have regular visit as it is located within 2.5 hours range from my home in Amman, and to experience this great nature in reasonable expense. After over 10 years of staying in this country, as a person like to sleep under the millions of stars, Dana is most frequently visited location at the recent years of my life in Jordan.

we have encountered fraudulent behavior on the part of the accommodation operator. after making the reservation via "booking.com" we arrived to the location - meeting with the resort representative "Ahmad" we were taken to another camp resort ( very old, nor matching the pictures during the booking, empty ) being told that the other "camp" is full... but 1 room could still be found - as long as we're happy to pay double price. We accepted as we're in the middle of desert. But this was clearly deliberate fraudulent conduct. Our recommendation would be for Booking.com not to keep contractual relationship with such accommodation providers.

The village has been abandoned and then rebuilt as a hotel. It sits above a valley and has a stunning view that goes all the way to the Dead Sea. The very friendly Musaad made sure that everyone felt welcome and helped. He also set up a guide for our trip to the nearby Sela' fortress, which is a very interesting Nabataean site. A beautiful spot away from the crowds of tourists, a chance to see the real Jordan.

I loved Wadi Musa for its welcoming people, stunning desert landscape, and its closeness to Petra. If anything “could be better,” it would simply be having even more time to explore and enjoy everything the town and Petra has to offer. Ask about the transfer that drops you off at the top near the Monastery - this saves you walking up and then back down the same route.

The reserve is beautiful.

The reserve is beautiful. We spent 3 days hiking and hardly saw any other people. Amazing colors and sweeping vistas. Definitely go with a knowledgeable guide to get the best experience. Stay at the Jabal Dana Hotel for great views and amazing food.

Perfect place to stay in Little Petra, very near from Petra itself with the advantage of being isolated from the tourist crowd Staff is friendly and their recommandations of what; where, how, the do and don't is highly valuable Food was good and diverse ut breakfast can be improved

Petra was the main highlight.

Petra was the main highlight. I would recommend spending at least 2 days here since 1 day isn't enough to capture the full experience. We ate at an excellent restaurant called "My mother's recipe" which had the most excellent food we ate in all of Jordan. Wadi Musa is very hilly, so be prepared for a lot of uphill walking unless you get a taxi or a rental car.

Pay attention to the weather conditions depending on the time of year. We had to abandon the hike due to heavy rain 3 days before (end of February/beginning of March). Our host recommended doing this hike after March 15 and ideally in May.

Great location right next to little Petra and 5 minutes from...

Great location right next to little Petra and 5 minutes from Petra. Suggest you take a car to the top (Rear) of Petra and enter near the monastery then walk down hill towards the entrance as it is a big day of walking. Hotel has lovely staff and very helpful. Every night was a large outdoor fire with tea service and music while the hills had lights on them for great photos. Suggest spending two nights in this hotel min maybe 3-4 nights to experience all the surround areas.
