The staff were very accommodating, considering it was a last minute booking on a very tight schedule. While there were only a few rooms left at the time of the booking, the guest was satisfied with the facilities and the stay overall. It is a second stay for this guest at this hotel, and much like the previous stay, the thing that truly makes this hotel stand out is the courtesy and treatment by the staff, which I found exceptional even by the high standards of the Japanese hospitality industry. It is within a reasonable walking distance of several hot springs spas, the major commercial center which is the area of the train station, and the primary nightlife area of Kawabata. Highly recommended in for anyone traveling to, or staying in, Akita city.

The bath amenities were excellent. Quality products, and table was always stocked so you can help yourselves anytime. Guests can also choose the pillows they want which was so great! We were sleeping badly in other places since the pillows were either too tall and hard or too soft. So getting to choose made all the difference to a good night sleep . AC controls are in the room and we can adjust it to the temperature that suited us.

Our stay at this beautiful hotel was just FANTASTIC. The location is wonderful, in the middle of the forest in a wild environment where the silence is king. The staff was very professional and gentle, and above all SMILING. The kitchen was very good and the buffet was entirely worth it. The structure is modern but well integrated in the magic athmosphere of Nyuto Onsen and our experience was authentic and breathtaking. The passport which allows you to travel around the Onsens is just WOW. Absolutely to reccommend. We stayed here one night from the 20 to the 21 of November. Michele from Italy
