Accommodation was clean, roomy, and very comfortable, big balcony, cleanest toilet and kitchen with all the utilities- even water purifier, close to basically everything from the beach to malls, supermarkets, rental bicycles, bus stops, conbini, diners all within 5-10minutes on foot. Perfect for people who got no car. There was a delicious ramen place right outside the hotel. Staffs were super nice and attentive. My family- visiting okinawa for the 4th time and had stayed at multiple hotels and airbnbs in the area. Taking everything into account, among them Lapin was 11 out of 10 experience. Definitely will come stay next time.

The bath and its view is superb! The changing room is extremely spacious so you don’t have to change right in front of strangers. The breakfast was definitely the best I’ve ever had. There were a lot of traditional Okinawa dishes and everything was labeled clearly. There are plenty of parking spots for free which is a bonus if you were driving. The room is also nice. Everything was perfect!

It was so nice to have an accomodation in Japan that had a little space! I'm 6'5 so that was really nice. Very comfy bed and pillows, not hard like in a lot of other places. Wifi worked great, nice balcony with washer and dryer was nice. There were enough kitchen utensils to cook some basic meals and a microwave was great too. The host responded very quickly. The location was decent with a Family Mart across the street and you could walk to the main road in the center where all the action is in about 20 minutes. I got a special introductory price so for me the value was definitely worth it. I extended my stay, referred another friend and I would stay here again.

The room & hotel was so beautiful, as an architecture nerd it was a wet dream. We spent the whole day just lounging around the pool, taking photos in the room. Just soaking in the atmosphere. It was super beautiful. It was so beautiful and quiet, all I heard was the birds and insects in the forest right outside.

The staff were incredible! First, we thought we needed to cancel and they waved our fee no problem. Then we re-booked when we realized we could make it. The lady who worked there was possibly the kindest person we have ever met. She helped us arrange restaurants, taxis and anything else we needed. She played with our kids whenever she saw them. She came to say goodbye personally and gave the kids big hugs. We felt like we were family. The location is incredible. The beach they connected to was silent. We saw maybe one other person on it the whole time we were there! The kids loved swimming, snorkeling and collecting shells. The pool was great and open for long hours. We could also eat or enjoy a drink while they swam as it was connected to the restaurant. Breakfast was good, the kids loved it!

The room was spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My family enjoyed our stay here. It’s up on a hill so the view was great. They have a small take out menu that was really convenient after a long day out. Cute gift shop. We requested a crib for our stay and they loaned us one for free. Would stay here again.

Not many sites to visit around.

Not many sites to visit around. Day trip to the Aquarium and Pineapple park were the highlights. American Village was a shopping-eating spot that attracts tourists, but nothing much. Shrine and garden would take a couple of hours. Two-three days in Naha is sufficient to experience area, culture and food.

We stayed three nights and that was enough for us. Beaches need more atmosphere, loungers, restaurants, shade etc. Also realised you need to hire a car cause America town and closes beaches got boring after three days.

We loved Onna!

We loved Onna! You’re right in the middle between Naha and the Aquarium. We used to go to a nearby beach called Kibougaoka Beach — mostly locals (but nver more than 10 people), and it was absolutely magical. So beautiful! YOU NEED TO RENT A CAR!

I only stayed in my hotel because it was raining but i definitely wish I stayed longer (I was only there for one full day— the other two I travelled to and from my hotel) but I really wish I booked a longer stay. It’s not as busy as Naha or other popular areas so for me it was quiet and peaceful. I wish I could have visited some local attractions such as the pineapple park but unfortunately it rained on the day I wanted to go and I didn’t really feel like doing that in the rain. But I’d recommend 2-3 full days here!

Just a great Island with spectacular beaches and tropical...

Just a great Island with spectacular beaches and tropical rainforest. You do need a car but then its easy to get around the Island. Best beaches Fusaki and Sunset. Take a hike up to through the Tropical Forest to Mount Omoto (a challenge !). Take a day boat trip and go snorkelling with Hori and watch the Manta Rays.

We visited quite a few places in the area including Okinawa...

We visited quite a few places in the area including Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium which was really interesting and well worth the money. We spent time at Motobu Genki Village and Bise with the tropical dream center all located within Ocean Expo Park. Due to a lack of time after seeing lots of other attractions in the area we were unable to visit the northernmost beaches and forest walks that we had planned.

Amazingly beautiful Quiet

Amazingly beautiful Quiet Tons of different local restaurants, cafes, and some international restaurants As we just happened to be there when a small typhoon hit, we had rain for 5 days out of the 8 days we were there c we still have enough indoor activities to do, and find an amazing snorkelling beach called Nakanoshima beach in Irabu Island which is linked to the main Miyakojima island by a very long and beautiful beach.

I love this city.

I love this city. Unlike most cities I have been in, there is almost no trash to be found on the streets, anywhere! At no time did I ever feel unsafe, no matter where in the city I walked. The people are extremely polite and friendly. The food is absolutely amazing! I LOVE this place! You want the best places to eat, look for the small ones. You will not be disappointed with the food or prices!

Tomigusuku is a peaceful area near Naha Airport, perfect for a quiet stay away from the busy tourist spots. Senaga Island offers a clean, uncrowded beach with beautiful views and occasional rainbows. While the beach isn’t very developed for tourism, that also means fewer crowds. The area has a nice balance of nature, shopping, and local charm
