We got the room with Mt Fuji and Lake view - which was amazing. The whole experience with authentic Japanese accommodation and dining was incredible. Yes, it is costly but worth the money. The staff were incredibly friendly and they provided a shuttle to and from the station, they can keep your bags at checkout and even deliver them to the station for our scheduled bus departure. You have access to the spring water baths (onsen) which are really comfortable. The food was laid out in traditional style - they accommodate vegetarians too.

7c Villas and Winery. Near Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji. Fabulous zen like modern place. Wood furnishings and even a heated floor for the cooler days and nights. Excellent heating system. Rain shower. Private deep ofuro - Japanese style bath tub in your own outdoor walled off courtyard with seating are looking out on your private garden. We stayed in a Mt room (Mt. 6) but I think all the mountainside rooms would be similar. Amenities include pajamas, lounge wear, Uniqlo warm insulated rain coats (when it’s cold), rubber clogs (like crocs) to wear outside. In room modern coffee grinder and kettle. Amazing and full breakfast brought to your room. This place has its own winery. Very peaceful and relaxing here even if Mt Fuji view areas are crowded with tour buses. We highly recommend.

Exquisite six room hotel in the countryside. Shuttle will pick you up at the station if you are not driving. Quiet, calm - perfect to get away from the hub bub of Japan's big cities! It is a splurge but the rooms are huge and beautiful. There is a private hot spring for the use of guests only - it is outside and the water is truly mineral saturated. We went once before dinner and once in the evening which was magical. Breakfast is included - delicious and served in the bar area or in your room. There is a restaurant next door that is associated with the hotel - "western" themed because of the horse riding vibe and the food was delicious. And finally, the added bonus is the Keith Haring Museum beside the hotel - spectacular building and collection. All in all the Percy was to spend two nights to relax and recharge...which we did.

A glorious, uninterrupted view of Mt. Fuji from the room balcony. The rooms were well maintained and super clean. The large balcony spanning the bedroom and the living room was the highlight of the facility. The facility provides free pick up and drop service from Kawaguchiko station (its a 5 minute ride) - and you can use that everyday you are staying there. Kawaguchiko station is your central point from where you have access to transportation to enable you to explore the area. If you take the stay with meals, you will be treated to some delightful and authentic Japanese food for dinner - some 8 courses of them!

Amazing staff that was so warm and helpful. From the complementary pick up service from the Kawaguchiko Train Station (ask the tourist information for help to call up to arrange) to the reception and the buffet staff, everybody is just so welcoming. The room with private onsen is a gem, the Mt Fuji view from the room is just awesome. Location is splendid as it is walking distance to the ropeway and Lawson convenience store. Ample parking space available too!

The room is spacious! The view is amazing. This Hotel have a huge garden and it's so pretty during autumn season. The staff is friendly. They let my kids borrow toys to play with in the room. The Mt. Fuji view room was amazing. Lucky we can see Mt. Fuji clearly during our stay. The facilities also great. Would like to stay again if I come to Fuji next time and will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Right beside the legendary phashi bridge, and conveniently located near a lot of late night restaurants (which is very difficult to find in Kawaguchiko). The rooms were beyond amazing, and exceptionally clean. The staff was friendly, and even the onsen had both indoor and bedrock open-air baths. Overall it delivered way more than what we paid or expected.

Hokuto is a bit of an off-the-beaten-track destination, perfect for a weekend or even 3 or four days. Surrounded by beautiful nature, it's a great place for hikers - since it's located at the base of the Yatsugatake mountain range. The adventurers can go explore the hiking trails and waterfalls, but also there are charming cafes, art galleries and international cuisine restaurants splattered in the area. I would avoid going there by car on a Saturday morning, because the Chuo Express Road gets packed and it may take up to six hours to get there from Tokyo (the normal is 2 hours). So if you can, go on a weekday.
