The staff was friendly and very helpful. Even arranged an electric kettle for us. The room was spaces and very basic as was the bathroom. We arrived and it was pouring down rain, which made the WiFi very spotty and mostly not working. it worked the next morning. Dinner was nice.

A small apartment fully equiped. Kitchen with everything needed to cook, a big fridge, microwave. Driking water was available, offered by the hosts. Living room with Tv, sofa and a desk with access to reliable wifi. Good bathroom, with a heater, super important due to the cold temperatures. Comfy bedroom. Located inside a compound with other houses, which feels very secure. Very near to the main road and located in a peaceful area. The owners were very nice, always ready to help and even arranged a visit to Kakamega Forest, the highlight of the trip.

The place is serene, i loved the morning sun rising beautifully on the green compound, with birds singing beautifully almost indicating that its morning, rise-up. The bed is very comfortable and place very clean. Friendly staff too.

The suite was SO spacious. We had been traveling for a while so it was so nice to feel at home. The bed was so comfortable. Everything was so clean and the shower was hot with good pressure. I would absolutely come back and would reccomend this place to anyone. It's in a quiet part of town but close to shops and markets. The service was incredible. Abdul was quick to respond with any inquiries and helped to facilitate rides, etc. THANK YOU!

The size of the room was excellent.
The size of the room was excellent. The meals at the restaurant were fresh, tasty, and good for healthy living. At least they heeded my request for a diet for someone living with diabetes.
The lighting in the room needs improvement. You can't switch off the lights from the sleeping side; instead, they have provided a rechargeable light, which I believe serves also for emergency lighting when there is a power interruption.
The section of the road leading to the hotel from the tarmac needs improvement.

Kakamega is a small town and it’s cosmopolitan with good entertainment spots that offer a relaxing experience, Signature club at the town center is quite good and easy to access, the sports club has great food and golfing experience but accessible to members only or reciprocating member clubs. It’s got a university not far, as such getting company for the solo traveler isn’t a hustle, many accommodation facilities available in and on the outskirts, Kisumu is 40 mins away as such commuting to or from kisumu is easy with frequent shuttle service available.
