The staff are just super friendly and helpful. If you were at this hotel more than 5 years ago, it is not the same hotel, BETTER, REVAMPED, and feels like new. Breakfast was vast and tasty too.

If you are looking for gold water taps, fancy jacuzzi baths, swimming pools, and a ten pages thick menu card, you need to choose one of the international hotel brand --- and pay twenty times as much! If you are looking for peace and quite, authentic African hospitality, scenic view over Africa's largest lake, Lake Victoria, the mountains and Kisumu City, you definitely should choose Lago Resort! You will pay like like in a budget hotel, but you will have an unforgettable experience, that you cannot find elsewhere.     Kisumu is a warm town.

    Kisumu is a warm town. Warm in the sense of the weather and the people. There is amazing food here and the city is quite beautiful. The lake view is breathtaking to say the least and the air is just pure and clean.

    Had been to Kisumu before but did not sight see on this...

    Had been to Kisumu before but did not sight see on this occasion. I spent only a few hours overnight in order to catch an early flight the next morning, so am unable to comment on any other aspects of Kisumu
