The moment we arrived , we were treated by professional and helpful staff .The room was magnificent and always cleaned to a high standard. Breakfast was good quality if food and the breakfast staff were very attentive and helpful .A really high standard of customer service from reception to the housekeeping, including the lovely security staff .We've already booked our next stay because of the excellent service and high standards of this hotel ..A really good example of teamwork .

This was our third time at PrideInn and we will be back, because we love it so much. I truly believe it is THE best hotel in Kenya for a holiday ( I have stayed at and visited many). It's the perfect place for a family with kids of any age, you can be both entertained or you can retreat to the quiet parts of the resort and of course the beautiful private or public beaches. My kids (13 & 16) loved swimming, the water aerobics, and beach volleyball in the evening the most. Having said that, I would also visit on my own or with friends, as it is equally good to carve yourself out a sanctuary. This year, we stayed there for 12 nights in late July / early August and the weather was perfect. Rooms are designed in a way, you are in touch with the beautiful outside. The resort is stunning with views to the sea. Food is plentiful, very tasty, and all options are very natural & healthy. What I loved as a mom, was that I could get my rest, while the kids were out and about from morning to late evening on their own having their best time and making friends. The staff at PridesInn are the best, I want to give my special thanks to Duncan (room services), Hisami (reception), Faith & Gladys (restaurant), and Denis (manager of entertainment), they all rock! But honestly so many more staff deserve recognition. Thanks for everything and until next time!

I absolutely loved this boutique hotel. The staff is amazing. Kind professional, warm attitude, we felt at home and everyone tried hard to make our stay a perfect experience and it was indeed. The decoration is perfect. This hotel from the 60's has a soul. The breakfast buffet was perfect. We had dinner as well every evening. It was good and affordable. The pool area was welcoming. We would like to greet and thank all the members of the staff from security guards to receptionists (even if we arrived late at night made their best with the kitchen staff to bring us snacks in the bedroom) the waiters and Waitresses from both evening restaurant and breakfast are wonderful And of a special thank you to Karen their amazing manager who puts her energy and Heart in this lovely hotel. I was pleasantly amazed on arrival to this property as I can tell you that the house photos on social media DO NOT do this place justice at all !! This is a place where you ought to come and EXPERIENCE for yourself . As the place is such a beauty that you wouldn’t want to leave . Receptionist - Veronicah dealt with all our inquiries and let me say she’s so lovely , patient and always at your service willing to help anytime ! And that’s the face of customer service right there ! Boniface (Reception) - was so friendly and helpful in assisting me in navigating the local . Faith was our helpdesk lady , she contacted us well earlier to confirm our booking and inquire we needed any assistance and she was gracious enough to organise transfer from the airport to the hotel . Which I must say the selected driver Alex Makau was really lovely , friendly and I love the story telling part of him just familiarising us with the place . Moris was always at our service , when it came to serving us breakfast and showcasing the foods at the buffet area. I would say , for you to have the FULL EXPERIENCE of MOMBASA , you must come to PRIDE INN NYALI . It’s a haven that deserves showcasing ! They offer an array of various delicacies to choose from when it comes to food and I love that the kitchen doesn’t close until 10pm for dinner . If you need anything sorted get in contact with Veronicah & Faith they will be glad to help you . Overall 10:10 would RECOMMEND!!

I had a fantastic stay at Reef Hotel in Nyali. The staff were warm and attentive, and they went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special with a decorated room, singing, dancing, and a surprise cake during dinner. The beachfront location is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent with a mix of Swahili dishes, fresh fruits, omelettes, pastries, and cereals. A perfect blend of relaxation, great service, and Kenyan hospitality — highly recommended!

Definitely do the tour of Fort Jesus and hire a local, official guide. Be prepared that this is a largely Islamic culture. Gentlemen covering knees and women covering shoulders is a thing. Also, alcohol is not as commonly available as other cities. There is a street food tour that is fabulous. Highly recommend. Very informative.

It is not a place for a holiday, I was there to check on...

It is not a place for a holiday, I was there to check on some of my Property but I was frustrated because I ended up staying for more Days than I had wanted. It is loud and congested.but if one has his own home is Ok but there are other nice places to enjoy and have fun It easy to get round Mtwapa, by Tax Tuk tuk and motor Bikes and public means of transport called Matatus.

Nyali has got all the beauties everyone imagines.

Nyali has got all the beauties everyone imagines. Though the property I stayed in was not good due to lack of information while choosing, Nyali hosts all the epic places any person feels so excited. Am really amazed with Mombasa in general and Nyali in particular. Crime rate feels zero level. People are very supportive and amazing. Mombasa/ Nyali has been beyond my expectation! I enjoyed it! Appreciative of Kenyans - wonderful people!

Victoria courts is one of the worst apartment.. will not recommend to any visitor because you will not like the hospitality there.. the rooms were not as per my specification and they didn’t bother to listen to me after reaching out to them severally. I had booked for 5 nights fully paid but had to spend one night and forego the 4 nights. They didn’t refund my money though and the didn’t care. Clients be warned!!!

Mombasa has amazing beaches and it takes you back in time (old town) while Nyali has stunning beaches and a different vibe. Its safe and secured, people are friendly. This was my 2nd time to visit Mombasa.

Hotel is in good location,good sea view, condusive and friendly employees. Except that the property needs serious renovations and improvements on foods catering. Otherwise the rest was good and we enjoyed our stay.

Its a nice town bustling with activity and its proximity to other amenities such as clubs, many nice restaurants, supermarkets, shops is very nice. Transport is easily available to other parts of the town, very friendly people, a variety of restaurants serving local dishes, barbeque chicken is a favourite and readily available every evening.

You have to know that Nyali is not a quiet place.

You have to know that Nyali is not a quiet place. At night you can hear many nightclubs but at least they stopped at a certain time. The beach is also crowded but offers many different amenities. It is not an upscale destination like it used to be

We were looking for a family holiday by the sea and can thoroughly recommend Mombasa. The apartment was on Lido beach which suited us perfectly and found a local taxi driver to take us to attractions such as Haller Park and Wild Water (water slides). The city is busy and there's significant work being done to the roads. So expect the occasional jam and some very bumby roads. In July the temp was just under 30 degrees C and there was a refeshing breeze from the south to temperate this. That also seemed to keep the mosquitoes at bay. We were pleasantly surprised to find some very good restaurants (e.g. CJ's near Wild Water - good food and good service). We didn't sample the night life nor take a safari to Amboseli - something for next time!
