Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Comfortable bed, air conditioning, modern. For breakfast I was attended by Mike who was very friendly and made sure I got everything I needed. The breakfast was good quality, I had a delicious omelette and sausages. I arrived very early and they were happy to hold my luggage so I could see the city. Later upon check-in my baggage was already in my room.. Also at checkout they let me stay in the common areas as I waited for my train. Overall a very comfortable stay.

The resort is outstanding. The pools are big and very entertaining for the kids. The area all around the resort is beautiful for walking (ocean views, green grass, etc.). The food is varied with a combination of local foods and international dishes (i.e. pasta station for kids, pizza, etc.). Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the Kids Club and kept asking to go there before it opened. Esther, Happy, and the other ladies were very welcoming and took excellent care of our two boys aged 3 and 5. The gym was nice and open plan, allowing you to gaze into the ocean as you're running on the treadmill. The spa is beautiful and very relaxing. The massage I had was perfection. Overall, a very nice stay - we were sad to leave.

I absolutely loved this boutique hotel. The staff is amazing. Kind professional, warm attitude, we felt at home and everyone tried hard to make our stay a perfect experience and it was indeed. The decoration is perfect. This hotel from the 60's has a soul. The breakfast buffet was perfect. We had dinner as well every evening. It was good and affordable. The pool area was welcoming. We would like to greet and thank all the members of the staff from security guards to receptionists (even if we arrived late at night made their best with the kitchen staff to bring us snacks in the bedroom) the waiters and Waitresses from both evening restaurant and breakfast are wonderful And of a special thank you to Karen their amazing manager who puts her energy and Heart in this lovely hotel. Location is as well very convenient. Safe and quiet. Asante Sana Claude

I had a fantastic stay at Reef Hotel in Nyali. The staff were warm and attentive, and they went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special with a decorated room, singing, dancing, and a surprise cake during dinner. The beachfront location is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent with a mix of Swahili dishes, fresh fruits, omelettes, pastries, and cereals. A perfect blend of relaxation, great service, and Kenyan hospitality — highly recommended!

I was in March 2020 there and had to leave one week earlier because of the starting pandemic. The manager was not ready to grant anything for my loss and left before the fixed meeting. The new manager made things right and upgraded the studio to a one bedroom apartment for almost four weeks (I stayed six weeks). I was very happy and all is well now. I will return.

Definitely do the tour of Fort Jesus and hire a local, official guide. Be prepared that this is a largely Islamic culture. Gentlemen covering knees and women covering shoulders is a thing. Also, alcohol is not as commonly available as other cities. There is a street food tour that is fabulous. Highly recommend. Very informative.

It's has variety of things. Great restaurants nearby like the Istanbul Beach Cave Restaurant. Great malls and entertainment joints. It was exciting to learn that the Old Bobs is the new 1922 club.

It is not a place for a holiday, I was there to check on...

It is not a place for a holiday, I was there to check on some of my Property but I was frustrated because I ended up staying for more Days than I had wanted. It is loud and congested.but if one has his own home is Ok but there are other nice places to enjoy and have fun It easy to get round Mtwapa, by Tax Tuk tuk and motor Bikes and public means of transport called Matatus.

Nyali has got all the beauties everyone imagines. Though the property I stayed in was not good due to lack of information while choosing, Nyali hosts all the epic places any person feels so excited. Am really amazed with Mombasa in general and Nyali in particular. Crime rate feels zero level. People are very supportive and amazing. Mombasa/ Nyali has been beyond my expectation! I enjoyed it! Appreciative of Kenyans - wonderful people!

Victoria courts is one of the worst apartment.. will not recommend to any visitor because you will not like the hospitality there.. the rooms were not as per my specification and they didn’t bother to listen to me after reaching out to them severally. I had booked for 5 nights fully paid but had to spend one night and forego the 4 nights. They didn’t refund my money though and the didn’t care. Clients be warned!!!

Its a nice town bustling with activity and its proximity to other amenities such as clubs, many nice restaurants, supermarkets, shops is very nice. Transport is easily available to other parts of the town, very friendly people, a variety of restaurants serving local dishes, barbeque chicken is a favourite and readily available every evening.

You have to know that Nyali is not a quiet place. At night you can hear many nightclubs but at least they stopped at a certain time. The beach is also crowded but offers many different amenities. It is not an upscale destination like it used to be

The apartment was on Lido beach which suited us perfectly and found a local taxi driver to take us to attractions such as Haller Park and Wild Water (water slides). The city is busy and there's significant work being done to the roads. So expect the occasional jam and some very bumby roads. In July the temp was just under 30 degrees C and there was a refeshing breeze from the south to temperate this. That also seemed to keep the mosquitoes at bay. We were pleasantly surprised to find some very good restaurants (e.g. CJ's near Wild Water - good food and good service). We didn't sample the night life nor take a safari to Amboseli - something for next time!
