The hosts were wonderful, always there to help and spoiling me with rice cakes and other delicacies. Ask for January as your tuk tuk driver / guide. He knows everything about Battambang and will take you on a discovery tour of the area. Really worth it!

The location was amazing - the energy and vibe was so zen and peaceful, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and kind. The pool was lovely and food at the restaurant was also great. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay. Hotel was very nice with lovely pool and garden. Owner and staff extremely friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Side note - most comfortable mattress we’ve had our entire time in Cambodia. We used the toot toot driver recommended by the hotel and he was reliable and knowledgeable, we used him for the 2 days of our stay and would recommend him to get around and see the local sights.

Very comfortable and well appointed property. Huge room finished to a high degree. Super comfy bed and big bathroom with all amenities. Tea and coffee and mini bar. The 2 pools are clean and fresh, the upstairs pool lacks a bit of shade. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The included buffet breakfast is also very good compared to many Cambodian hotels. In 11 years living and travelling here it is one of the best stays I've had. Will be back.

The place is gorgeous and the staff are super friendly. The pool is big and a great area to hang out. Breakfast was also great. We would love to come and stay there again.

Great hot water. It’s a 10-15 min walk from the main area where most tourists go so it’s a bit quieter. Restaurants right outside. Large room, comfy bed and pillows. I can tell the bedding was actually washed unlike other places I have stayed.

Bambu Hotel in Battambang completely exceeded my expectations! The hotel is even more beautiful than the pictures. The food is absolutely delicious, with an amazing breakfast that set the tone for a wonderful day. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. I had a most wonderful time at the Hotel Royal, excellent located near the art deco Central market. I was very happy with my big room, very clean and very well priced. Most of all I was overwhelmed by the friendliness and hospitality of the family owner, very warm people. Tip: do not book your Bambootrain activity online, but go for a local tuktukdriver, such as Mr Han. Well recommended this hotel!
