It is hard to put into words how magical this property is! From the moment we arrived we could see we were in for a treat. The staff were very welcoming, and we immediately felt at home. Our room was beautifully furnished with mid-century furniture, and the bathroom featured a lovely long bench so there was plenty of room for our bathroom stuff. We liked the art and interesting decorations in the room. The public areas are nicely laid out with room for everyone, and I loved the beautiful floor tiles! The pool was of a generous size and the loungers comfortable. Everywhere you look you can see the care and attention to detail put into making this hotel so special. The food and drinks in the restaurant were tasty and we absolutely loved the cocktails. It has been said before in other posts, but it is worth mentioning again that what sets this hotel far apart from others is the sensational service. All staff were attentive, professional and knowledgeable and managed to combine this with a sense of truly caring for their guests, and it always felt genuine. We would love to come back one day. The service is completely unmatched as the staff really do go out of their way to make sure you have the most enjoyable experience. We visited in dry season so unfortunately the river is lower than usual, however, it was still great to see the resident water buffalo and elephant cool off and play in the water. I cannot thank the staff enough for their efforts during our stay, from the amazing greeting on arrival to the turn down service, the special table setup for dinner with INCREDIBLE food from a local chef, we were continually humbled by how thoughtful and kind everyone was. If you are planning on doing some temple tours, this is a great place to come home to and recharge in the movie star style tent villas that make you feel like you're on a remote tomb raider expedition. I had an excellent stay at Angkor Home 27th! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I especially loved the location — just a short walk to the city center but still peaceful and quiet. The complimentary breakfast, and swimming pool was a nice touch. Temples amazing. Well worth booking group sunrise tour to Angkor Wat due to the knowledge of the guide. Visit mine clearing rat centre (APOPO). Ten dollar entry fee well worth the money. Angkor Wat, Ta Prom and Bayon Temples and museum never disappoint. Make sure to include Mali's on your list for fine dining! Incredible atmosphere and delicious food!!
