A nice hotel, maybe the nicest, right in Chilgot. Had a safe place, albeit outside, to keep our bicycles we are travelling on. Room felt high end... nice shower area, bath robs, firm bed etc etc. Quiet even though backed train station. Never heard a thing.

What a hotel!!! I will breakdown my review because so much to say but ABSOLUTELY LOVED MY STAY!! Location: 20 minutes from the intercity bus terminal, you can take a taxi outside if you need help the hotel can assist in arranging one. It is located right outside the Hahoe Village. Service: Amazing staff! Many thanks to Sue who made sure there was someone waiting at the hotel as we arrived at 10:00PM which is past check time. The manager who received us and was kind enough to book a taxi for the next day I cannot remember his name :( many many thanks to Jun the general manager who ensured my stay was comfortable, explained the history of every single meal provided and answered any questions. Lastly the kitchen and housekeeping staff who were great! Rooms: I cannot recommend staying in this hotel enough! If you like culture and want to experience hanok stay this is it!! The room was so beautiful, they provide all the amenities. Hygiene levels are very well maintained. I loved soaking in the spa bath 10/10 Restaurant: I had my breakfast and dinners in the hotel. They offer local breakfast-bulgogi or continental I recommend trying the local breakfast was soo good. I also highly recommend the dinner which is curated and definitely try the local wine and makgeolli you will not regret it!! As an added plus Mr. KIM who is the 'tour guide' of the hotel was able to provide a full day tour of the historical places around and we finished with the village exploration and mask performance. He is very knowledgable seeing as he is a published professor with UNESCO so I recommend highly his services. Lots of cafes too around the hotel and I think the village offers paid shuttle service to the city. Overall this was a great great stay!! I went to reconnect with nature and take a break from the city bustle and it exceeded my expectations!!! Do stay here 100%
