The hotel seems a little hidden at first, bit it's very modern and very well equipped. Even though I don't speak Russian, the two ladies in charge managed to communicate well with me and even catered to my extra wishes (such as storing my luggage after check-out). The room is super nice, even with tea and water provided. It was very clean and calm. I would definitely stay here again!

The Skif HOTEL is the best, most fancy and popular hotel in Petropavl, Kazakhstan. It has good security and is down a safe, quiet street, 1 minute walk away from the center of the city! It has a nice restaurant called Tahiti on the first floor with an expansive menu and delicious buffet breakfasts in the morning. The building also has an attached Gym and Spa which is clean, large with lot of equipment and used by locals as well, with attentive trainers! The rooms and bedding is spotlessly clean, a good size, standard bed, bathroom and desk, you are provided a full, reasonably priced minibar as well as some extra welcome gifts, the wifi is fast and reliable and the views are pleasant. It was great value for money, the staff were exceptionally attentive to whatever your need, with friendly greetings whenever you enter as well as being kind and understanding, whatever may be the problem, I am truly loved my stay there and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in Petropavl.
