The stay is extremely personal and detail-oriented, with great service, a wonderful vibe, and beautiful design. And the view… wow. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean is all you need. The food is creative and delicious, the coffee is amazing, and overall the value for money is outstanding.
A very strong recommendation from us. If you’re coming to the south, you will not be disappointed.

We recently spent five days at this beautiful hotel, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Every single person working here deserves the highest praise: From the reception and restaurant teams to the spa staff, gardeners, and service crew. Everyone was incredibly friendly, genuine, and always ready to help with a smile.
A very special thank you goes to our butler, Badde, who made our stay unforgettable. His attention to detail and thoughtful surprises turned our holiday into something even more special. Beyond his professionalism, he is simply a wonderful person, full of positive energy.
The property itself is breathtaking. Located on a large rock overlooking the coast, it feels as if you are floating between forest, beach, and sea. The sound of the waves is always present, and the views in every direction are magical. Despite being around 30 years old, the hotel feels modern and very well maintained. Improvements are constantly being made. The architecture and interior design are unique and tasteful, far more characterful than in many new hotels.
Some reviews mention that certain areas might feel a little “aged,” but in our opinion, that criticism is entirely misplaced. Naturally, not every pool or wall can be rebuilt every few years and there is absolutely no reason to. Everything is clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
The food is another highlight. Even after five days, we kept discovering new dishes to try, each one beautifully presented and full of flavor. The variety and quality are truly impressive.
All in all, this hotel combines hospitality, design and experience in a way that’s very rare to find. We left deeply relaxed and already looking forward to returning one day.

Had a great experience at Pandanus Beach Resort. Everything: location, room, restaurant, view, pool, beach was absolutely delightful! Hotel Staff members were friendly and very helpful. Everything was immaculate, clean and tidy.
Pleasant surprise was an invitation to cocktail party by the Hotel management, where we had amazing time communicating with other guests and having delicious drinks.
Left with lots of amazing memories staring with early morning walks on the beach, relaxing time on sunbed and warm waves of the ocean, dinners with delicious food and life music…. If I ever return to Sri Lanka, the Pandanus Beach Resort is the Hotel I am definitely going to stay!

Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon is an excellent choice for a dream getaway by the Indian Ocean. The New Year’s Eve party was exceptionally well-organized, from the stunning decorations and music to the lavish catering, with all praise going to the staff.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the food is excellent, and the beach and pools are clean and well-maintained, with plenty of sun loungers for relaxation.
The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Highly recommended for those seeking a complete relaxation!

Great location with beach views and only short stroll into town. Staff were exceptional, we were always greeted with a hello and smile whenever we passed them. Breakfast was great with a freshly cooked egg chef who cooked the most delicious omelets, he always had a big smile on his face and took pride in his craft. They also have 2x wheelchair accessible rooms available and ramps to all areas of the resort which is a standout feature. Looking forward to coming back next year!

All the staff were always smiling and friendly particularly the front of house staff.
We always felt like we were the only guests there.They made us feel so special.When my daughter got sick staff went above and beyond to help and get a doctor and give advice.
The rooms were kept spotless and the beds were comfy and cosy

I enjoyed my stay in Galle.
I enjoyed my stay in Galle. The place was very clean and the environment was relaxing. It’s a good location to explore the city and enjoy the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the beds were a bit old and already broken, so it wasn’t very comfortable. If they fix that, it would be a much better stay. Overall, a nice experience and good value.

Its a fantastic place, just at the beach and well planned hotel, pools, beach, restaurants, bars, lobbys are equally catering to customer service points. We had our best hotel experience at Araliya Unawatuna. Even met the owner and had a generous chat during breakfast which is so touching and personalized service standard I believe.
Easy to visit Galle Fort, just a walk to the golden sandy beaches.
Staff from top management to the ground staff is well trained to give excellent customer care. We specially thanking to our 7th flour room service staff who simply helped us in technical support, bars and restaurant staff and Nethmi & Dakshika and all wonderful reception staff memebers.

Hikkaduwa is one of the best tourist beach spots with friendly and helpful local people. The weather is cool even though we had some rain, but we stayed at the villa on the balcony watching people fishing kayaking and canoeing down the River. The beach area has some unique fresh seafood restaurants, surfing, snorkeling and you can even rent out glass-bottomed boat to see underwater world. There is also a Turtle Hatchery here and Tsunami museum for tourists. Beach is very clean.

Ahangama is so peaceful - it's slightly away from the busier areas around the coast. The restaurants around are in great locations, and all very calm with great vibes. It's also very easy and quick to get to neighbouring towns to visit sites, or restaurants in those locations as well.

Great beach with very few people.
Great beach with very few people. Not suitable for swimming as the current is very strong. Also, as a solo female traveller, because there are so few people on the beach it is advisable to be extra cautious. One morning when I was walking by myself, there was a man in the bushes who exposed himself to me (intentionally). So use caution.

I recently stayed at La Kurumba for two nights, and everything about the hotel was exceptional! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The food was absolutely delicious — every meal was a treat. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

My favourite place was the turtle hatchery.
Most meals were eaten at the Hotel.
Very easy to get around. There is a tour agency opposite the hotel entrance, it cant get any better than that. It is easy to take tuk tuk or van taxis.
Superior beach front view. Beautiful gardens and swimming pool. Well done to the management and staff for this top class facility.
Local fishermen were easy to approach and social chat with.

Great beach, we felt like Robinson Crusoe on the beach,...
Great beach, we felt like Robinson Crusoe on the beach, almost just the 2 of us. Visiting Mahdu Lake at 6 a.m. watching the sun goes up. A natural paradise with a lot of birds and other animals. Listening to their different noises. Dining at the Mangrove Cave Restaurant we enjoyed freshest seafood. It was just very tasty.
