This was by far the best stay of my three weeks of solo traveling in Sri Lanka. The boutique hotel is beautifully designed with such great taste by the owner, and the staff are incredibly friendly, doing everything they can to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and everything was spotless. After weeks of traveling around, I was able to fully relax here. I truly recommend this place to everyone ! the people are so kind, and the setting is stunning. You can even purchase some of the carefully curated items displayed in the hotel, which makes it extra special. An absolute top hotel!

Amaroo is pure serenity! The stunning location makes it the perfect place to unwind, surrounded by nature and beauty. Everything here is high quality, from the accommodations to the atmosphere. My room was stunning, so clean, and had a comfortable bed. I loved waking up to the view of the sea and hearing the waves off my balcony. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the service was amazing! I especially loved the fresh ingredients and high-quality breakfast. I found peace, comfort, and a truly relaxing stay. The hotel itself, although not the newest, is well-maintained, and it's clear that the owners and staff place great emphasis on ensuring guests feel comfortable. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the housekeeping service responds quickly to any needs. The hotel's common areas are tidy, and the pool and relaxation areas offer a peaceful atmosphere. This hotel is a pure sweet spot: a combination beautiful sandy beach with nice ocean view through palm trees, excellent and well-trained staff, huge variety of very tasty food, comfortable rooms and excellent management with focus on sustainability. We booked a room with breakfast and intended to dine outside, however upon our arrival a hotel manager Mr Fernando warmly welcomed us and recommended to try dinner buffet... And we did - the best experience (both breakfast and dinner) comparing 5 hotels in Sri-Lanka we visited during our 3 weeks vacation. Additional compliment to the way the hotel is managed - exceptional level of service, safety, sustainability and attention to the guests needs. I can't put in a review all the things we're positevely surprised with this hotel - it far exceeded our expectations, definitely recommend to stay here!

Had a great experience at Pandanus Beach Resort. Everything: location, room, restaurant, view, pool, beach was absolutely delightful! Hotel Staff members were friendly and very helpful. Everything was immaculate, clean and tidy. Pleasant surprise was an invitation to cocktail party by the Hotel management, where we had amazing time communicating with other guests and having delicious drinks. Left with lots of amazing memories staring with early morning walks on the beach, relaxing time on sunbed and warm waves of the ocean, dinners with delicious food and life music…. If I ever return to Sri Lanka, the Pandanus Beach Resort is the Hotel I am definitely going to stay!

This hotel has a beautiful soul and truly is a perfect place to unwind. The staff is professionally trained, very nice and friendly people. Rooms are little bit outdated, but clean and all the amenities are there including slippers and bathrobe. Internet works perfectly fine and fast. Pool is huge, definitely one of the biggest outdoor pools I have seen in a hotel, always very clean. Food is also great, there are endless options at the buffet and the a la carte menu also has nice and tasty items along with good drinks. They offer many activities during the day, gym is small but sufficient.

The resort was beautiful right on the beach and close to all the good cafes and eateries. The best part was the staff they were so very cordial and helpful. I wanted to celebrate my baby's first birthday and they did an excellent job in the decoration and made us feel special. Special mention to Dinushi from the restaurant who was so loving and pampered my daughter a lot. All other staff Sujith, Namal, Nimsara, Malith were also extremely polite and helpful. Janani made a lovely cake for my daughter. Manager Melvin was wonderful too. Overall I recommend this resort to everyone.

Plenty to do in Galle, well worth visiting. Just DON’T use the White Queen, as the manager will make it very difficult for you to get any redress if there’s a problem (I was charged for a five night stay instead of Four, and only realised after payment had been taken-silly me!) Enjoy your stay, just elsewhere in Galle.

Its a fantastic place, just at the beach and well planned hotel, pools, beach, restaurants, bars, lobbys are equally catering to customer service points. We had our best hotel experience at Araliya Unawatuna. Even met the owner and had a generous chat during breakfast which is so touching and personalized service standard I believe. Easy to visit Galle Fort, just a walk to the golden sandy beaches. Staff from top management to the ground staff is well trained to give excellent customer care. We specially thanking to our 7th flour room service staff who simply helped us in technical support, bars and restaurant staff and Nethmi & Dakshika and all wonderful reception staff memebers.

Property needs full renovation. Staff needs full training.

Property needs full renovation. Staff needs full training. Needs full cleaning. Food so bad (had dinner & so very disappointed) nothing good to say in any aspect of this hotel. My opinion shouldn’t have any stars

Ahangama is so peaceful - it's slightly away from the busier...

Ahangama is so peaceful - it's slightly away from the busier areas around the coast. The restaurants around are in great locations, and all very calm with great vibes. It's also very easy and quick to get to neighbouring towns to visit sites, or restaurants in those locations as well.

There are so many locations to see.good peoples are around & very safe are. I like the place & the area.i had great time durig the vacation.I guess that threre is 1km around to the beach & also there is a logoon.i have experience the boat safari at the lake. I wish if i could stay few more days to enjoy.

I recently stayed at La Kurumba for two nights, and everything about the hotel was exceptional! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The food was absolutely delicious — every meal was a treat. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

Great beach, we felt like Robinson Crusoe on the beach,...

Great beach, we felt like Robinson Crusoe on the beach, almost just the 2 of us. Visiting Mahdu Lake at 6 a.m. watching the sun goes up. A natural paradise with a lot of birds and other animals. Listening to their different noises. Dining at the Mangrove Cave Restaurant we enjoyed freshest seafood. It was just very tasty.

My favourite place was the turtle hatchery.

My favourite place was the turtle hatchery. Most meals were eaten at the Hotel. Very easy to get around. There is a tour agency opposite the hotel entrance, it cant get any better than that. It is easy to take tuk tuk or van taxis. Superior beach front view. Beautiful gardens and swimming pool. Well done to the management and staff for this top class facility. Local fishermen were easy to approach and social chat with.
