It was a pleasure to stay at Leel's Safari Cottage! Leel, Nameli and Leel's Mother are such heartful persons, we had a lot of fun together! The rooms are very new and have a nice view to the garden which is wunderful! Make the Safari Tour with Lee, he has very good knowledge, and gives his best to give you the most special experience. He showed us so many animals! Also the food his mother and wife are cooking is very delicious! His taxi driver sameera is also great.We highly recommend this place, and hope we come back soon! The best stay of our 1 month trip to Sri Lanka. I highly recommend Amba Kola Udawalawe. We spent 3 days and never wanted to leave. Rooms and the common area are artistically designed. Super friendly host and excellent home cooked meals. Spotlessly clean rooms and peaceful surroundings. Do yourself a favour to stay at this beautiful property to make your trip to Udawalawe memorable. Special thanks to Amma to provide us an authentic Sri Lankan food and drinks. Good place, nice host (including the dogs) and good beers and food. Wake up with the sound of the Uwadalewe birds. A great cottage made from wood. You'll feel at home when you enter the homestay. A good place to visit the national park. Book your safari via the homestay. The guide is great.

We only stayed for one night but really had a wonderful time. The place is located next to the river and the garden with the pool makes you feel like being in the middle of the jungle. The owner is very kind and welcoming prepared wonderful meals for us. Highly recommended, for sure also for longer stays.

Large room, excellent host (Gayan & his mom)! The location is just next (2-5 minute drive) to the National Park entrance. They welcomed us with a cool Watermelon juice. Then later that evening had a delicious & delightful Sti Lankan dinner. The host is super courteous and friendly, respectful and polite!

We stayed one night prior to safari next morning so worked perfect for us, food, beets, breakfast, bed, all perfect! The manager and reception area were lovely to deal with, helped with any questions we had. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND, such good value for money, thank you so much!!

We had a great stay at Green view safari resort. We were welcomed with a drink and early check in. The bungalow was perfect for our needs and very clean and tidy with good Air- con. The lovely couple who own the place were so welcoming. We had a superb home cooked evening meal with choice of 4 curries. Good mini bar choice also. They arranged a brilliant safari for us which was great value and with a really knowledgeable driver. We highly recommend for a 1 or 2 night stay.

Great idea with great realisation!! It has nice reception area, two zones of camps and houses with swimming pools for each, big children playground, nice restaurant and close location to the national park. We stayed in deluxe camp which was not new but clean and comfortable! Every morning they come to clean and refill tea/coffee/water savings. They have arranged safari tour for us, the guide was very nice and the price was very reasonable. We liked everything.

The athgira was a beautiful centre to go from out safari from. The staff were so extraordinar y kind and attentive. We had got engaged 2 days before and they had arranged a suprise afternoon tea gardens followed by an exclusive rose petal and candle filled engagement dinner. We love how much of a team they are and got to know them all. Special thanks to chalani, kithamini, Chanuka, kansaka and hinusha. Couldn't recommend more

Very friendly staff gave a warm welcome. The welcome coffee was the best time of my life. Not only that, I was surprised because the pool was so clean and beautiful. This place is one of my favorites in Sri Lanka! It was such a beautiful surprise! Calm area, very nice outdoor setting, the room was very spacious (as was the bathroom!) So let's talk details: - Food: Amazing! Home cooked food, with candlelight and the sounds of nature! - Safari: He was a very good company during my trip! He gave me some tips, was very flexible with my requests. - Helpfulness: Arranged a taxi to my next destination, Overall, it was totally worth it, you will really enjoy it! !

Where to start... We had a wonderful stay! Our host Ravidu is a very kind man, he welcomed me and my girlfriend into his family. We will forever be grateful for the special memories created there. His wife cooked us delicious traditional Sri Lankan food at night. Thank you very much ☺️ The bed is extremely comfortable and the room is spacious and very clean. It was nice to have a place to hang out on the terrace. There are many beautiful plants around the property that give it a jungle feel. We saw many tropical birds around. I 100% recommend booking a safari through Ravidu, he partners with a guide with many years of experience. The safari guide was knowledgeable about the animals and different species we saw on the safari. He was very respectful of the wildlife and drove slowly through the park unlike other jeeps..!!
