The staff were so welcoming when we arrived and throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was delicious up on the terrace and our room was lovely and really clean. It was a ten minute walk to the souk which was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

The accommodation is at perfect place, just in the city center. The hosts are very warm and friendly. Room and the house is nicely equipped, breakfast is perfect. We traveled with our dog who was very welcomed by the hosts daughter (and the whole family). We enjoyed staying there a lot.

Great location, close to everything you want to be close to but away from the hassle. The hostel is really clean and facilities are at a high standard. The staff are all really nice, going above and beyond sorting out football tickets in another city etc. There was a misunderstanding with my washing - mistakes happen but it's how someone deals with making a mistake that is a true test of their character. They admitted their fault, were extremely gracious & polite and rectified the situation very quickly.

We loved staying at Riad Mauritania. Communication was great, and check in was easy. We booked a double room and we were very comfortable. There were plenty of toilets and showers with hot water. Most importantly, our experience was so special because of the staff. We spoke a lot with Mohammed, and watched the football with another member of staff. We felt so welcomed and at home. They also helped us with everything, and showed genuine care for us. We recommend everyone to stay here on their stay to Chefchaouen.

I would like to thank our host Ayub and his team, kitchen staff Sara and Hamza, for looking after us. They were very friendly and polite with my kids and showed great care and respect for my mother, too. The hospitality is on another level, and so was the level of cleanlines. Our visit to the Hotel Dar Medisiana exceeded our expectations in many respects. The hotel itself is well located in the middle of the medina. When we arrived, we were greeted with tea and cookies by a friendly receptionist. While we waited, we noticed how beautifully decorated the hotel was. Everything seemed to be color-coordinated in the bright atrium that forms the center of the hotel. A place has been created here with dedication and great attention to detail, where visitors immediately feel at home. Our room was also tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. It had air conditioning, a fridge and even a kettle. We also really liked the roof terrace, from which you have a spectacular view over Chefchaouen. One thing we would like to emphasize positively is the overall service, starting with breakfast. It was absolutely delicious and another highlight. We were served a variety of fresh Moroccan dishes. All the staff were very friendly throughout our stay and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

We travel al lot, and stay in a lot of hotels, but this is definitely one we'll never forget. Situated in the heart of the old Medina, this beautifully decorated hotel offers all the luxury and comfort you can wish for. We had the suite on the top floor, which gives you a stunning view over the city and the mountains from your private terrace. The possibility that you can reserve the entire swimming pool just for yourselves, is amazing. Breakfast is perfect. The wellness packages they offer, are absolutely superbe. We tried the Hammam, the massage, and the facial treatments. It all was perfect. And last, but not least, a big shout out to the staff! The reception was run by two young ladies who both did an outstanding job to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They were professional, very kind and helpful, and certainly added to the fact that we had one of our better stays ever. Thank you ladies. Till next time, Ins Allah.

Dar Wadada is exceptional in many ways and I was lucky to have stayed in this wonderful place. Out of the town and up in the hills it is tranquil with stunning views and walks. easy to walk in to town and there is a free lift back up the hill - or in to town if needed. The gardens are lovely to sit in and watch the sun set. the rooms are comfortable and well furnished and it it is quiet at night. Selma is lovely and makes a very good breakfast- and plenty of it. she also cooked a tagine for me at night which was one of the best I had on my trip. but the real star is the owner, Rachid. unfailingly cheerful and positive he lifts the spirits and can’t do enough to help the place is infused with his positive energy. I wished that I could have stayed longer and hope that I will be able to return to this special place.

The location was amazing with a beautiful view. The architecture was beautiful. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delicious. They allowed us to leave our baggage there after we checked out and were very accomodating. Nice shampoo and body wash was provided.

I've dreamt about visting Chefchaouen for decades. So despite the one and two-day trips so many guidebooks recommend, I stayed for 5 days to try to get a better sense of this magical place. It was well wworth it

Chefchaouen is an amazing historic city.

Chefchaouen is an amazing historic city. So much to see and do. Spend the morning on a hike and come back for the market and a tagine. I would like to have had a beer but I survived, lol. Our guide Abdul was a beautiful human being. He enriched our trip so much. His deep explanation of Ramadan was an inspiration. The solidarity with all people and the egalitarian aspects were something that I had not formerly considered. It is a bonding with all of humanity. Abdul showed us the secret spots of this ancient city and I am better for it.

Picturesque but very touristy and an excess of street...

Picturesque but very touristy and an excess of street vendors selling many crafts which likely come from China (are not made locally). Extremely hot when we went in July. Very important to get a decent guest house with air conditioning. 2 days is more than enough.
