Both dinner and breakfast were delicious with the addition of fresh fruit which was very welcome. The tent was very comfortable and spacious and the evening program organized by the camp sounded cheerful and fun. Sadly my partner and I did not partake as we were a bit tired with some flu symptoms and therefore preferred to sleep in early.

The trek hosts were incredible and authentically kind. Gorgeous opportunity for photography! Sleeping in the desert was amazing, our tent was luxurious and felt as if I was a million miles from everywhere else. Absolutely planning on returning. Great people, the camels were gentle and exquisitely taken care of.

I recently had the most unforgettable experience at Aurum Dunes Luxury Camp in Merzouga, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was beyond exceptional—the staff welcomed us like family, offering traditional Moroccan tea as we took in the breathtaking views of the golden dunes.
The tents were pure luxury—spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities you’d expect from a high-end retreat. Waking up to the sunrise over the dunes was truly magical, and the tranquility of the desert made it feel like a dream.
But the highlight of our stay? The off-road ITV adventure! Riding across the dunes in a powerful buggy was an absolute adrenaline rush. The guide was experienced and ensured we had a thrilling yet safe ride, making it one of the best experiences of my life!
Evenings at the camp were just as special—delicious traditional food, live Berber music under the stars, and a cozy campfire where we shared stories with fellow travelers. Everything about Aurum Dunes felt authentic, warm, and incredibly well-organized.
If you’re looking for a perfect mix of luxury, adventure, and true Moroccan hospitality, this is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back!

MaltaStaff was excellent, especially Ismael. They made us feel so welcome and at home. Such nice people. Location was super good with a breathtaking view of the dessert. Aesthetics of the room and design of hotel as well as cleanliness were top notch. We are very picky but it exceeded our expectations. Dinner options were also super good. They also prepared a sweet gift in our room to celebrate our anniversary which was so thoughtful. I wish I stayed more nights here! Truly grateful for the hotel team. They also helped us walk towards the camp at night to hear some music. They also have a mini store for snacks. Most beautiful pool. Honestly 10/10.

IrelandIt was a great place. Comfortable and immaculate, the tents were. In a desert setting, it appears they have succeeded in achieving the highest degree of comfort. There's good preservation of the surrounding region. Among the best we've had in Morocco, the cuisine was delicious. Despite giving you your personal space, the staff was incredibly attentive. I really enjoyed the camel ride. It was an evening of wonderful Berber music. To anyone looking for a special and memorable adventure, I would heartily suggest this camp.

We asked to order Medfuna tradicional Sahara's pizza. Swimmimg pool vas very clean and nice. We higly recomend to stay here, we had 3 nights. Hotel is beautiful 🌴 Bed was super big and comfy!

Everything about this hotel says 'quality'. From first checking in with the lovely guy on reception, everything was wonderful.
Our room was immaculately prepared, the shower, excellent.
The bar/restaurant was run by lovely attentive people, dinner was fantastic with a beautiful sunset view, and breakfast was amazing.
We didn't use the pool or spa facilities, but they also looked immaculately clean.
The location is very close to the Cedar forest, where you can take pony rides and see the monkeys.
For us, this is a must stay place when visiting Morocco.

Very nice, typical hotel, personalized welcome. Outdoor parking on site. Relaxing atmosphere. Very pleasant pool with an exceptional view of the dunes. Second pool heated to 32 degrees and clean... wow it's wonderful to swim there in the evening with a starry sky. The food is delicious. Beer and wine at a reasonable price. Extraordinary, helpful and supportive staff. A detour is essential to discover this wonderful place, located at the gateway to the desert. One of the best places to explore the dunes. Asphalt road to the Riad.

Air-conditioned room, essential for Morroco winter and 🌵desert. The facilities are real good, I feel like I am in a hotel room. Big and clean, with comfortable beds. The place is close to dunes, you can easily walk around and see the desert sunset and sunrise. Dinner is served with four courses and included in the price. Really good dinner and tasty! The camel ride to and from the camp is 40 euro p.p. which is a reasonable price I think. The music is good as well. We enjoyed a lot in erg chebbi sand dunes!

We liked everything, the apartment was clean and spacious, and all the necessities were there. The staff are professionals, they were kind and helped us with everything we needed especially Hassan at the reception, Ismail and Fatima at the kitchen, and the other people whose names I don't know. The food was authentic and homemade.
I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Merzouga.

our family likes this camp so much! Staff prepared for me birthday cake and take it on our dinner with songs and music!
we left a car in the hotel and the driver take us to the camp. There is evening show.
I very recommend stay minimum two nights. Because checking in is late and check out is early, so in one night you don’t have enough time to enjoy desert.

We travel in summer which was not ideal but actually worked really well. The camp has swimming pool that was nice to cool off and also AC that work well , but they put put it on at 8 pm .
We liked our tent a lot. We had glass in front open to great views of the Sahara . Food was good and perhaps bit too much of it. Staff was really nice and caring

Midelt was an interesting town/city.
Midelt was an interesting town/city. There is lots to explore there. We enjoyed wandering around the souk. Sitting at the foot of the mountains it is quite beautiful in the changing light.
Midelt feels that it is well looked after and maintained compared to other cities and towns we have visited in Morocco.

Hotel staff was very obedient, punctual. Hotel surrounding, forest tour by walk.. Deep inside, a visit to a small lake for a short picnic, smaller town comparatively and a short centre ville visit are special moments in 4 days visit. A retirement town. I breathed most clean air in the whole of my life. Very clean town.. I always used to rate some rural area of Sub Saharan Africa as the best for good air quality but now my new option is IFRANE of this beautiful country "MOROCCO".

It was the perfect place for us to meet and get some rest the night before heading to Merzouga! Hassan is a lovely person and was super helpful in getting to and from his home. His home is extremely clean and spacious. Hassan was a great host! I would highly recommend his home.

Not much happening in this town.
Not much happening in this town. Hard to find good restaurants. Most places seem to serve fast food. Probably the biggest draw is the proximity to Ifrane National Park and the famous Barbary macaques. They are easily spotted on the road N13 leading into town mainly because people like to feed them there so there are plenty to see.

The hotel is not in Tinejdad proper, it is in nearby El-khorbat. We did not see a lot in Tinejdad: the hotel was the highlight of the neighbourhood.
The khettaras are close to Tinejdad in Jorf and we enjoyed visiting that.

The dunes around Les Roches Desert camp are breathtaking. The tents are clean and cozy, and the food is excellent. The staff treated us like friends, not customers. We felt comfortable and welcomed from the first moment.

Interesting medina, market and main square. Short (free) visit to mausoleum is main event, otherwise not a lot to do. Probably 1 day/night is sufficient. Use as a base for half day visit to Volubolis. Limited decent restaurants , most are in Riads. A restaurant with a terrace with nice views exists on inside of gateway near main gate

This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town.
This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town. It has a variety of people who live here, and was dry as a bone when we stayed. We were hoping to hike the surrounding countryside but couldn’t get it together so walked around the various neighbourhoods. This turned out to be a great experience. We found a very interesting Berber village, a completely unexpected Catholic monastery, and a very bizarre but beautiful guesthouse.
We were surprised by this town and think that you might be too.
