Imsouane wood house is a real paradise. Everything was perfect, the room was very comfortable and has everything you need. The position is just perfect, right in front of the beach, and it is just 2 min walk from the surf spot La cathedrale. But the best part was all the staff. The managers were extremely kind and helpful and the chef’s are real artists!! We had the privilege to taste the best food we have ever had in all Morocco. All the guys that work in wood house are amazing people, genuinely kind, and they really made us feel at home. We had a beautiful trip and we also made new friends and connections. It really couldn’t go better than this!! If you are looking for a paradise in Imsouane, go to Wood House!

Fantastic welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Great location to spend a couple of nights after arriving at Agadir before heading off into the Anti Atlas, on to the Sahara before returning up to Agadir via the Southern coast. We liked it so much and it's proximity to Agadir Airport we booked another night for our return flight. Thank you for a lovely stay.

What a wonderful find, right in the centre, yet within the walls it’s a hidden oasis, all you can hear is birdsong. We wanted for nothing. We ate every meal in the riad, and for three full days we did exactly what we came for, lying by the pool and properly switching off. Breakfast was happily tailored to our needs, and both lunch and dinner were consistently delicious. Unlimited on-site filtered water given to us in glass bottles - no plastic. Homemade yogurt and lemons picked from the trees in the garden. We also had a brilliant hammam and massage on site, so professional, and so thoughtfully done. Little details made it feel special, tea and beautiful homemade shortbread by the fire, sitting in our robes as a calm interlude before an hour-long massage. Margaux, the owner, was incredibly helpful from start to finish, arranging our airport transfers, answering all my questions beforehand, and organising a couple of excursions while we were there. We stayed in the main suite with its own private balcony, which meant sunshine all day, overlooking the pool. We saw the other rooms too, and each one was lovely, with charming personal touches. We highly recommend this riad, and would love to return.

Mariam at the reception deserves a special mention – her kindness and friendliness made a significant difference. She not only made our stay pleasant but also surprised us with a complimentary breakfast, which was a delightful touch. The rooms, with their pool view, provided a serene atmosphere, and watching the sunset from the balcony was a highlight. However, it's worth mentioning that the bathroom fan was a bit loud, and attention is needed to fix the shower area tiles to prevent water leakage. On a brighter note, the spa at Argana Hotel is a hidden gem. Highly recommended for a relaxing experience, the staff there are not only nice but also professional. The breakfast spread was a delightful mix of everything, catering to various tastes. The pool, always clean and accompanied by daily entertainment, added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. There is a good selection of restaurants.

There is a good selection of restaurants. The beach is a beautiful expanse of sand. Begging is on the rise, but its respectful. Taxis are easy and great value, specially the orange ones. The airport is only an easy 30minutes drive from the centre of the city. There has been significant development of infrastructure around the beaches. A lot of money has been spent on landscaping and providing sporting facilities.

Great hippie surfer vibes, such a friendly place. Beach is great and sea was wonderful. Town doesn't really have any places to exchange currency so have to use ATM which have extra charges per transaction. No supermarkets to buy alcohol so stock up in either Agadir or best of all in duty free.

Beautiful little coastal town.

Beautiful little coastal town. We were only there for the surf. The bay is perfect for all level surfers, especially long-boarders. Beautiful cafes and restaurants around with epic Moroccan food as well as some western options. Everything is walking distance which is amazing.

There are some great surf spots within a short drive and good value restaurants. Beyond this, there is not much to do. The neighboured seems safe though is a little dirty. There are some very friendly locals though it feels like most just want to make money out of you rather than have a genuine interaction. There are also unofficial 'parking attendants' everywhere who force you to pay to park in free parking areas.

My friend and I have been to Taroudant several times and we really enjoy embracing it. We enjoyed Taroudant, as we had just travelled from Marrakech which was very busy. We enjoyed our time, as we relaxed and then got a horse and carriage around Taroudant which we really enjoyed. We will remember our trip to Taroudant for many years to come.

Great little town where you can stock up on food, souvenirs and get petrol. Locals are super friendly and laid back and things that we bought at the market were definitely cheaper than we found in Taroudant. Hiking must be awesome but we didn't have enough time. In a rental car its super easy to get around.

The instructors were friendly and professional, making it easy to learn and improve. The location offers beautiful waves suitable for all levels, and the relaxed atmosphere made the stay very enjoyable. Breakfast each morning was delicious and energizing, perfect for starting the day’s surf. Highly recommend for a fun and memorable surf adventure!

There were excellent markets around the hotel area - I picked up some real bargains. The large supermarket was good and has a cash machine. I was only staying one night before my flight so didnt venture out very far, Cab to the airport was 200mads.

Riad was authentic Moroccan style. Loved being there. Ocean was close by - about 7 minutes walk - and we loved being on the beach and hearing the sound of the waves. Guided hiking was great and we enjoyed bartering in the souk in Agadir. We visited a women's collective on our way to the anti Atlas with great organic oils and an educational tour of the gardens. That was fabulous - no pushy selling. We ate mainly in the hotel but there were many good places to eat inexpensively near by. Getting around was easy - taxi for us. We liked walking in the village for an authentic sense of Moroccan life for ordinary people.

We've been to Agadir/Taghazout/Essaouira etc (and Marrakech!

We've been to Agadir/Taghazout/Essaouira etc (and Marrakech!) probably 20 times in past 25 years so know the area pretty well. Despite 3 hr drive each way, Essaouira is an absolutely fabulous historical town though possibly a little over-developed now outside the Medina, well worth a (long) day trip
