We had a wonderful stay. Everything from the warm welcome to the comfortable setting exceeded our expectations. This is the 2nd time we stay at Dar Zitoune & it is still excellent. The rooms are large, spacious & elegant decorated in a Euro/Moroccan style. Each with a private seating area outside. The gardens separating the rooms are lush & create a sense of privacy. There are 3 pools, the main is enormous with seating all around. Service & staff are very attentive, gentle & friendly. One gets the sense that they are proud to work there. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent & the kitchen will accommodate any request.

We had our booking 4 days after the grand opening and everything was brand new. Right at the beachfront with plenty of swimming pools as well as the lovely soft sandy beach. Kids had a blast! Definitely a holiday break to remember. Food was fresh and delicious. Ample choices between Mediterranean and Moroccan cuisines. Impossible to try all the offerings in one sitting. The entertainment staff were brilliant looking after the children giving adults a much deserved break. Murad the manager was very professional and attended to requests immediately. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Well done to all the staff and I hope the place maintains the services offered.

Big room & clean room - the cleaning service was really beyond expectations, like in a 5* hotel. The hotel must be new. The café downstairs has good breakfast. Bus stop right next to the entrance or even walking to the beach was fine.

Absolut peaceful oasis with beautiful maintained, tropical gardens, lovely outside seating areas which we could still use in the evenings in January because very effective gas heaters were provided. Not only was it warm but the fire, together with the lit up trees, created a very atmospheric ambiance.The highlight was the attached animal park with a selection of African and South American animals as well as stables with beautiful Arabian horses. Food was excellent with a super breakfast in the morning.It’s a quick transfer from Agadir airport and will take about 45 minutes into Agadir centre.

The property is perfectly located with easy access to the beach/marina, lots of restaurants and shopping. Very safe and convenient for a family with young children. I also stayed up the coast in Taghazout - which I think I prefer. Compared to Marrakesh Agadir is very modern and looks to have a younger population with large Uni etc. I very much liked the place and would love to go back.

Booking.com 's representation of where this apartment is is...

Booking.com 's representation of where this apartment is is totally inaccurate.They show it as being in the middle of Taghazout. It is not, it is miles from anywhere. £8 in a taxi to get into Taghazout, no real restaurants or shops near by. Contacted the apartment agents but the lady was so rude and unhelpful. We ended up having to move to Agadir and having to spend extra money on a hotel. Totally disappointed in booking .com. Looking for some kind of compensation as we are £300 out of pocket because we had to book a hotel as we could not spend 9 days in the middle of nowhere.Totally misled by booking.com's picture of the location of the apartment.

Whether you're a surfer chasing the longest wave in Africa, a yogi in search of stillness, or a traveler wanting to unplug and reconnect, Imsouane has a quiet magic that gets under your skin. The pace here is beautifully slow — sunrise surf sessions, fresh fish straight from the harbor, golden hour strolls along the cliffs, and starry skies at night. It’s not a party town; it’s a place to exhale. Locals are kind and welcoming, the surf community is humble and open, and everything you need is within a short walk: cafés, beach shacks, viewpoints, and nature. There's an authenticity here that’s increasingly rare. After visiting many many countries, I can honestly say Imsouane is one of those few places I carry in my heart long after leaving. I will definitely be back!!

My friend and I have been to Taroudant several times and we really enjoy embracing it. We enjoyed Taroudant, as we had just travelled from Marrakech which was very busy. We enjoyed our time, as we relaxed and then got a horse and carriage around Taroudant which we really enjoyed. We will remember our trip to Taroudant for many years to come.

There are some great surf spots within a short drive and...

There are some great surf spots within a short drive and good value restaurants. Beyond this, there is not much to do. The neighboured seems safe though is a little dirty. There are some very friendly locals though it feels like most just want to make money out of you rather than have a genuine interaction. There are also unofficial 'parking attendants' everywhere who force you to pay to park in free parking areas.

Great little town where you can stock up on food, souvenirs and get petrol. Locals are super friendly and laid back and things that we bought at the market were definitely cheaper than we found in Taroudant. Hiking must be awesome but we didn't have enough time. In a rental car its super easy to get around.

Agadir has amazing weather that is dependable in November.

Agadir has amazing weather that is dependable in November. The people are extremely nice and friendly. The restaurants are great. The seafood and meat are very tasty. The tagines are fabulous. The beach is fabulous.

Lovely resort with great surf.

Lovely resort with great surf. Old fishing town which meant there was some noise in the morning. Nice restaurants and stalls and 3 different beaches walkable from centre. Not sure if we were unlucky but there was noise/music in early hours a couple of nights.
