Extra thank you for the girls at spa, that made my mood x10 better)) The road to the place is kinda tough for a big car, but you should be ready for such roads in Montenegro. Personnel kindly helps with parking of your car. The place itself is calm and far from the Kotor town, so no disturbances for your stay. Comfortable and beautiful exit to the bay.

We had a great time and enjoyed this hotel very much! The hotel is a luxurious five-star, but it stands out, because they thought of every tiny detail to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The bed is perfect for a good night sleep. We had a great time in the spa area, suitable for every age group. The breakfast is delicious and rich. We also visited sveti Stefan, which is a 20-minute walk away from the hotel, through a beatiful forest. Amazing staff, very helpful and acommodating, bravo! We will definitely come back here. Thank you for everything!

Service in this hotel is exceptional and stuff is heartwarming, they went over and beyond to make our stay enjoyable! Reception desk girls are very kind and considerate and household makes you feel like you're at home. We had amazing dinner at the Hotel's restaurant terrace with breathless view. No one should miss that Aleksandar wine and local fresh fish!

In the room we have not only bedroom and bathroom but also the living room and extermely big balcony with the see view. Hotel is located near to the beach, and very good taste restaurant. A luxurious hotel! The food is delicious, and the premium alcohol is excellent. Thank you for the room and service upgrade. The staff is very friendly. The beach is stunning with its own sandy shore - the sand is so soft, it’s rare to find anything like it. The animation team is wonderful. We enjoyed everything.

Really liked the small old town in Budva.

Really liked the small old town in Budva. It doesn't get too many tourists ( like Kotor) so is less crowded and more tranquil. I didn't like the fact you had to pay to walk along a part of the walled town. There are lots of small food places there (selling pizza, sandwiches, byreks, cakes), which is great and absent in lots of these type of places.

The scenic location of Kotor in Kotor Bay is spectacular. I recommend a boat trip on the bay. You'll need an extra day to fit that in. It's inexpensive, in a small boat, and you get to see the incredible views from the water. The old town is very nice, small, but when cruise ships are in port it is very crowded, not pleasant at all!

Tivat is a gorgeous town with the original town with few shops and bars/restaurants used by the locals. Porto Montenegro is a modern part of the town with lovely restaurants, designer shops and great facilities - still reasonable food and friendly staff. Tivat is a great base to explore the coastal resorts including Perast, Kotor, Budva etc. Public transport is not great so would recommend hiring a car - plenty of parking everywhere (although do your research to find the better car parks in each town as there are some dodgy private car parks which we managed to avoid).

I visited both Tivat and Kotor, but the Herceg Novi area is definitely the best place to stay around the Bay of Kotor: the most beautiful, cleanest, calmest, nicest vibe, better price level (e.g. accommodation, restaurants, etc.).

I'm afraid my impression of Bar was that it was industrial, a bit ugly and not very well looked after.(Sorry Bar, maybe I didn't go to the right places!) Wanting to visit places that are not yet wholly given over to tourism, is a two edged sword; it means that the 'pretty views' are often obscured by something utilitarian and not pretty! I took a taxi boat to Sutomore beach, which was a lovely trip and incredibly good value. The beach and water was fabulous but I think every person in the whole of Montenegro had had the same idea and the beach was extremely crowded. My reason for visiting Bar was to do the train journey from Bar to Belgrade, which I had read was one of the most beautiful in Europe. It did not disappoint and made me forgive Bar everything!

Ulcinj is an interesting place with much more of an Albanian...

Ulcinj is an interesting place with much more of an Albanian feel than further north. We visited in early October and there were very few tourists - the season was largely over unlike further north. This was an advantage in many ways as the city's own distinctive character was dominant. The nature reserve in the salt pans to the south is well worth visiting for the flamingos, pelicans and other birds but involves a pretty long walk.

Perast is a magical place, almost removed from time. The situation on the waterside surrounded in all sides by mountains is breathtaking. The walk along the promenade each evening is a rare pleasure. There are plentiful good restaurants inside Perast itself as well as local oyster and mussels farms a short walk from the town, that serve delicious food. The boat trip to the island and the Blue Cave is also well worth doing.

Sutomore is a cozy and fairly quiet town, without much nightlife or loud activities — a great place for those who prefer a calm seaside rest. Just a small tip for travelers arriving from the airport: be careful when choosing a taxi, and it’s safer to use official ones.

Overall, a great place, every recommendation for the hotel. Great stuff, great food. Beautiful place, a lot of attention paid to nature. I was particularly impressed by the olive trees in the yard, and the attention paid to their preservation.

From the sveti stefan bus stop, it’s very easy to get around, buses to Budva Old Town run every 20 minutes, cost €2.5 one way, and take about 20 minutes. Taxi from Tivat airport is around €55–60 and takes about 40 minutes. For food, we often bought frozen homemade dishes from a Ukrainian shop in Budva, which were really tasty.
