My wife and I were in Montenegro for almost 2 months and staying here was the highlight of our trip. Vranjina and Skadar Lake are very beautiful, scenic, and full of nature. Mio, our host, took us on a very pleasant boat trip where he caught some fish and showed us the lake. We also hiked the nearby mountain, a short walk from Vranjina, where we saw amazing panoramic views of Skadar Lake and even Albania. Mio was also kind enough to offer to pick us up from the train station and drop us of in Podgorica. Our next door neighbours were Mio's parents Radovan and Gina who were very lovely people. They prepared us very delicious food, especially fresh carp from the lake which was the best fish we ever had. They also poured us a lot of homemade wine and rakija which was excellent. They were very generous and always made sure we were fed and happy. They were very friendly and sociable, always inviting us into their home for coffee, wine or rakija and talking to us. Radovan was very personable and he is also a great poet. He even wrote some lovely poetry just for us. Gina is very generous, kind and funny and took good care of us. You definitely won't regret staying here.

The place is located in a quiet, peaceful area with beautiful views. Perfect if you want to relax, but still not a long drive from Podgorica. For us it was the last night of the trip, but we wish we could stay longer... The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, the host is very welcoming, there's an option to have breakfast and dinner in the place and also get wine, made in their own vineyard. We took a short 20 min hike from house Novak down to the river, it was amazing. Would highly recommend staying here!

It was the most magical place we stayed at during our montenegro stay, the view from the restaurant terrace was as increadible as in the pictures, and the hostess made us feel so at home with her kindness and her amazingly cooked food. The beds were also super comfy, with a soft matress and a fluffy blanket. We will definitly come back here if we come back to Montenegro, and I can only recommend!

Had a lovely stay here. The location by the river was peaceful and relaxing, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff is very kind. The facilities were great, the breakfast was a nice touch, and overall it offered good value for money.

Amazing property with breathtaking views. The host was fantastic — quick to respond to messages and happy to arrange all our activities. Just a five-minute walk away, there’s a jetty and a small swimming spot (€10 for the day), as well as a lovely fish restaurant nearby. That said, it’s equally perfect to simply relax at the property and soak in the view.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming — they treated us like their own family. The food was delicious; I had the best vegetarian meals in Montenegro, and the best part is that the vegetables come straight from their own garden. The stay is charming, and the location is beautiful. Highly recommended if you're looking for peace and quiet.
