This was by far the best hotel we have stayed in as far as we can remember, we believe current rating (7.6?) does not do it justice since we would give it 10 stars. Everything was excellent, from huge family rooms (74 m2!), to food (French food with choice also on Indian, Asian etc), kids club - our kids were 3&5 (opened from 10-22.00, with possibility of kids dining with them so you can enjoy dinner alone), many fun activities. We also tried spa (husband had great massage), yoga (nice), family treasure hunt and many other activities. Facilities are great (pool, kids pool), resort is clean, well maintained, staff is beyond nice. We were on HB package and it suit us well, we ate lunch extra at resort every day and we do not find food pricey (European prices), drinks are a bit pricey (9 euros for beer), but still a lot cheaper than Dubai 5 star resorts we tried before. Husband also arranged for kitesurfing lessons (10minutes away, in the next resort) and we have to admit Mauritius is even kitesurfing paradise, flat lagoon, no people (2-4 kitesurfers at the time), great instructor. We hope to be back to Outrigger soon with 3 kids, we saw many big families and the extra kids room can fit 3-4 kids easily + they gifted us many free coffees, ice cream was free all the time, which is a nice gesture. Overall, 10/10, thank you very much for everything! PS: We even got early check in and late check out, so basically we got to stay there 8 days and paid for 7 nights. Excellent price/value ratio on 2nd week of January, looking at prices, first week of January would be too expensive and March and April as well, but we got great nightly rate and think it was totally worth the money.

It was the best holiday ever. Incredible staff, beautiful beach and the snorkelling round the reef was amazing. The food at the hotel was 5 star. The kitchen even cooked up our catch for us after we went squid fishing. There was always a great selection and plenty of choice. The lady who makes omelettes in the morning was the best. The lady who cleaned are room was so friendly and did an outstanding job. I got my nails done and had 2 massages in the spa which were incredible! The thing we will truly remember is the friendless of all the staff, they couldn’t do enough for us, so professional and always with a smile. Especially Santos who worked on the bar! Thank you again!

As returning guests, it was great to see our initial experience repeated. The room was very comfy yet spacious. Great housekeeping services. Impeccable pools. Nicely maintained surroundings. The absolute best about Shanti are the wonderful people working there. To Akshay, Manootra, Darshini, Vandana, Adisa, Christopher (I hope I didn't misspell the names) and all the others I could not name here: Thank you for your kindness, great service and all those little moments that really make a difference. My son suggested moving in for good. We had a great time again and highly recommend Shanti.

I really liked the location, the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms, the intimate location, the fussy and tidy staff, the delicious food, the quality of cleaning in the room, the well-groomed territory, the coastline, the presence of corals right next to the hotel.. In general, everything is at the highest level! I will definitely come back with my family!

Great service, thanks to the very friendly staff (in particular, our main contact Melvin was fantastic). Very comfortable and spacious room with a lovely patio and view. The food at the restaurants was very tasty and the settings were great.

The Hotel has a fantastic beach with beautiful sunsets. It is probably one of the best on this stretch. The Buffet absolutely lived up to the expectations we had for the place both in the morning and in the evening.

Right on beach side, sea view, very clear sea water but rocky, good for snorkering. Near to public swimming beach. Good restaurants opposite hotel. After check out, given free transit room until our flight at night.

The location is wonderful with a cloudy/rainy weather which we would love to stay on at all time. restaurant is very nice and have some good choices. staff are amazing and non can see better.

Everything was perfect, my daughter booked us a room for our wedding anniversary, with a sea view. The staff was so nice and gave us little gifts since they knew it was our anniversary.

We were accommodated for in so many ways. The host was lovely. We loved the venue & also the morning breakfast hampers we were given. Thank you so much for making our stay memorable.

Absolutely spectacular! Friendly, professional staff who go above and beyond. Fabulous well equipped villas surrounded by excellent facilities and beauty.

I only had this room for the night as had a late night flight but was very happy with it, much larger than I expected and facilities were fantastic
