I was here on Jan'2024 and everything was perfect. Very cozy small hotel with beautiful rooms and magnificent views of the ocean. The staff were very friendly and they made us feel relaxed and calm. The hotel is located on a small calm beach with a rich reef. The island is small, cozy, and amazing people live on it. My advice: 1) visit the fish market late at night to see stingrays and even sharks that come here for food 2) try a coconut drink at a local cafe 3) try a traditional Maldivian dinner or lunch at DFC Restaurant

Dharavandhoo also has its own airport, with 25-minute flights from Malé, making travel effortless. We took the speedboat in and flew back—both organised flawlessly by Shihab. 🌊A Paradise for Marine Lovers🐢🦈 The island is near Hanifaru Bay, where majestic manta rays gather seasonally, and close to a whale shark hotspot. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Isla Retreat team for their exceptional and warm hospitality. Their dedication to creating a memorable experience was evident in every interaction, and we are already eagerly anticipating our next visit to this little paradise on earth. The rooms are stunning. They are not only aesthetically pleasing but also very well designed and very comfortable. Evening turn down service was an added bonus! The bathrooms are also equally stunning, clean and functional. Ismail and his team, especially Akoo, made my family and I feel very welcome. They both offered us great advice. The restaurant is another highlight and comes highly recommended. The food, including the desserts, were absolutely delicious. As a vegetarian, I greatly appreciated how the restaurant went above and beyond to cater to my dietary needs. As a family, we loved every moment spent at Isla Retreat. Highly recommended, cannot wait to return.

Lovely beachfront hotel, very welcoming and well maintained. The manager was incredibly helpful and truly cared about the guests, which made us feel at home. I enjoyed the full board option: the food was tasty, with a good variety for a small hotel. The staff, both in the restaurant and overall, were warm, friendly, and always happy to chat.

Clean and spacious room with a balcony. The breakfast was satisfying. The staff fulfills all requests regarding food or room. The activity list is quite extensive with various diving, snorkeling, fishing, sailing, island hopping options. We took a night snorkeling activity in the coral nursery and the experience was above my expectations (I would recommend it to anyone - children included). The use of torches with different wavelengths of light really brings a different perspective to coral. The distance from the accommodation to the beach is around 1 minute. What really made our stay outstanding was the host, Aani. She was there to show us around the island, answer our many, many questions, give explanations, take us shark and sting ray watching at the harbour, take us sting ray feeding, point out various plants and animals, present to us how betel leaf is supposed to be eaten, discuss various customs, she even helped us plan the next leg of our trip! She made us feel like family.

Afu, our captain and forever friend, has made our maldive experience special and warming. He has helped us with all possible trips and excursion at the island. The children loved him and his son was so cute. Very value for money.

Everything was great from warm welcome to our laeving the Island. location on the beach, clean and air conditioned room. All staff is really kind and helpful, especially Maya and her colleague. Maya is very supportive and helpful. You feel that everything is possible to her. Many thanks one more!

we liked absolutely everything, very warm welcome, wonderful cook, wonderful Naeem, I apologize in advance if I wrote the name incorrectly. they helped with any issue. we remember our vacation with great joy. now, what does not apply to the hotel, the island is beautiful, the locals are very friendly, there are several restaurants, the ocean is amazing. on the last day dolphins swam, a lot of them. in general, delight!
